I made it to my first classroom and spent the morning painting and learning about ancient history. History was a required topic for art history and I was specialising in original mecha design from the twenty-eighth century. We went back to initial concepts that humans first had regarding mecha during the rise of the twenty-first century, but functional models, like the Imperial Star used now, didn’t start in common use until the twenty-eighth century. My intention was to become a digital artist for mecha war-movies. The Klaxon rebellion was pretty popular in modern history movies but there were always older films too. The corporation wars from the thirtieth century often popped up.
Still, history was a dry topic and I fiddled and squirmed a little when the chastity belt annoyed me. It was hard to forget I was wearing it.
When my lunch break finally came I stared at my phone, trying to decide if I wanted to send my boyfriend a message and request he take off the damn belt. I started with a ‘listen pervert’ but since he had the key and I certainly didn’t want to show up to the nurse’s office with it on and explain what happened, I deleted that and glared at my phone accusatorily.
“Wei Ling, are you going to lunch?” The question startled me and I looked up from my phone. Aiden Wu was in the classroom and standing over my desk. He must have been there for a little while because his trail of followers had started coming closer and were wondering who I was and why Aiden came to talk to me.
I looked down at my phone and quickly slapped my hand over the screen, hiding the horrible messages from the awful beast. “I… what? Lunch?”
“Yes. Lunch. Come on, the cafeteria line will be long if we don’t hurry.”
“I cook my own lunch.” I immediately objected.
“But you didn’t bring it today.” He pointed at my bag.
I looked at my bag as well. I was sure I’d packed something. I opened it up but the container with my noodles and vegetables wasn’t there. I must have left it in my dorm room. “How did you-“
“Can we have lunch together?” He brought his arms together in front of his chest, those silky black ears drooped low like he feared I would yell at him, “I’ll buy, is it okay if it’s my treat?”
I didn’t need big ears to hear a few girls asking who I was and why Aiden Wu wanted to eat with me. I had no idea, well, okay, this must have to do with his stolen credit card- speaking of which, could he even afford to buy lunch since his card had been stolen? “Uh, maybe I should buy?”
Aiden gave me a bright smile, When I stood he wrapped an arm around mine, leaning against me the way girls did when they walked hand-in-hand with their boyfriends. The level of rage his action triggered in the followers wasn’t lost on me, but to my shock Aiden had a strong grip and he didn’t let go of my wrist when I tried to subtly shake him off, instead he took the lead and half-dragged me toward the door.
Naturally the cloud of students following Aiden at any given hour of the day parted in front of us and two young fresh girls, the blonde I recognised from the cafeteria in the morning, fell into step with Aiden’s quick pace. “Senior Wu, won’t you be troubled if you have to eat too much cafeteria food? I have a good aunty at home who cooks my lunch. This morning she made a big serving just for Senior Wu because she’s a fan.”
The girl held out a cloth-wrapped lunchbox that looked pretty big.
Aiden shied from the offering, his smile stiffened again. “My manager says I should only eat from the cafeteria or professional chefs, because of my delicate constitution. I’m sorry. I wish I could accept your delicious foods.”
The girl didn’t give up. “How about if I order us in some food from Pink Fudge? You like sweets, right? I can get a whole cake delivered! My father owns the chain store.”
“Oh, maybe you should have lunch with your friends, senior?” I wanted to tug myself free but he tightened his grip on my forearm.
“Why are you calling me senior, Wei Ling? Aren’t we close enough to call each other’s full name?” Aiden leaned into me and I almost fell over. He weighed more than I expected and I was being jostled by the crowd behind us.
“I-I…” I panicked. The stairs to the cafeteria weren’t too far away and the girls behind me were angry enough they might shove me down the stairs.
Given Aiden was attached to my arm, he’d probably fall too and then I’d definitely go to jail for hurting the celebrity. “I have to go to the toilet, please excuse me!”
“What a coincidence, I need to go too.” Aiden didn’t take my hint and instead we stopped at the toilet doors.
The barrier of the male-identifying toilets prevented the female hoard from following us in and most of the male students in the crowd probably saw that I was trying to escape. I hoped. Only the two of us entered. I exhaled in the safety of the bathroom, then I looked at the dainty little catboy who hadn’t let go of my arm. “Uh…”
“Hmm?” He blinked up at me from under his lashes, I suppose, in an endearing way.
“I’m sorry!” I blurted.
“What for? Did you do something wrong?”
“I didn’t steal your credit card! I think a crazy hacker from the computer science department must have done it, please don’t kill me! I don’t know who it is, only that it’s a pervert and a lunatic and you should get someone to investigate because it’d definitely be bad for you to be caught by that beast!”
Aiden regarded me for a while, his face impassive and thoughtful. It was hard to tell what he was thinking when he wasn’t purposely showing emotion and I slowly tugged my arm free of his hands. After a moment, he seemed to come to a realization. “You…”
“I swear I don’t know anything about the theft!” I clapped my hands together. “Please believe me. I would never steal!”
Annoyance flashed across his face, Aiden’s cheeks puffed and he turned around, tail lashing in the air. He moved back to the toilet door. Then, glared at me over his shoulder like an angry kitten. “My credit card isn’t stolen!”
The door closed after him and I stared at the exit. What did that mean? Was he denying he’d lost it? I didn’t understand. His reaction was really bizarre.
I waited two minutes before I dared to come out of the bathroom. I half expected to run into a few girls who wanted to teach me a lesson, but it seemed like that sort of thing only happened in dramas.
I breathed out in relief and caught sight of the same package the blonde fan had been trying to give him shoved, unopened into the bin. What a waste of food.
I didn’t risk going to the cafeteria and no one was around so I unwrapped the lunch box and took the box. It was the kind you were supposed to reuse, too. The rich really didn’t think like common people.
I headed for the school garden and found a nice isolated spot under a tree to eat. The packed lunch was huge and looked like something from a high class and fancy restaurant. I was just about to dig in when my phone beeped.
Baby, you need to eat lunch. You better not skip.
I rolled my eyes and photographed my food. The box had beef and chicken in spicy sauce, two cherry tomatoes and some cold potato salad, a section of rice, a boiled egg and some dipping sauce I didn’t recognise. I didn’t send anything other than the photograph. I didn’t want to sink to his level, but if I didn’t eat, he’d know. It must be tracking my phone. His reply was odd.
Where did you get that from? You didn’t accept food from strangers, did you? Even little kids know not to take food from creepy men.
What an idiot. I dug my chopsticks into the fluffy white rice and sniffed it. Sweet and fragrant even cold. Prepared by a proper aunty who knew her stuff, I bet. It was really high class, last time I had such a nice packed lunch was my mother.
Don’t you dare eat any of that! Tell me where it came from, right now! My phone, like he was psychic, vibrated again.
I stabbed my chopsticks into the side of the rice like two incense sticks and replied.
I made it. Go away.
Liar, you didn’t make that! Baby, its dangerous eating food from strangers.
How do you know I didn’t make it, huh? You creeper! I deleted the words and rewrote them. It’s fine. A girl tried to give it to the school idol and then threw it out because he refused. This is clearly a lunch made with love and care, okay, now let me eat in peace.
Baby, don’t eat that dirty thing. I’ll buy you something nice.
There was a pause and then he sent me a follow up.
Do you want your husband to make you something from scratch? Is that what you like? Home-cooked food? Eat something else today and I’ll make you a lunch tomorrow.
I shoved my phone into my pocket, resolved to ignore it and picked my chopsticks up again.
“Wei Ling, you’re here!” Aiden’s call almost made me jump out of my damn skin. I thought it was my boyfriend sneaking up on me.
The catboy vaulted over a bush and settled down on the ground beside me, ducking his head low. I didn’t have to guess what he was hiding from, the crowd of rushing students that followed him most everywhere were beginning to flow into the garden, clearly looking for him.
To my horror, he’d kicked over the lunchbox and now it really was ruined. It looked so good, too. I didn’t know the last time I ate meat and fresh salad. I stared at the ruined box on the lawn and silently mourned for it. This was my crazy boyfriend’s work.
Aiden was an unwitting agent of that devil.
“What’s wrong?” The catboy looked down, following the art in culinary form that he’d ruined like he didn’t know his mistakes.
I covered my face, trying to draw in my temper. “You…” It wasn’t a good idea to yell at the school celebrity, if I got on his bad side who knew how much pain and frustration his followers would put me through, but at the same time, the urge to vent rose to the surface.
“I knocked over your lunch, but you can have some of mine, it’s much nicer.” Aiden gave me a bright, sunny smile like he’d fixed all the woes of the world.
I snapped. “Have some awareness! Do you have no idea who you are and how damn popular you are? You can’t just talk to anyone, you cause too many problems for normal people like me when you try to act friendly to us! And I have a psycho stalker boyfriend, I don’t have time to deal with a dumb catboy too! If you want a bodyguard hire one from your agency, don’t act chummy with me hoping I’ll save you from your crazy fans. We’re not friends!”
His eyes widened and I grabbed my bag, running away before he started crying and I got beaten to death.
I’d just blown up at the school idol and probably made him cry and I skipped lunch and I had a big test after lunch break and I felt like a total idiot for yelling at the poor kid trying to make friends with me so determinedly despite us being such different people.
He really was a prince, I supposed. Although now I probably gave him a complex, maybe I’d ruined any chance he had of making friends and he’d grow bitter and sad with resentment. Why Aiden Wu wanted to hang around me, I couldn’t imagine.
He was bright and warm, I wasn’t. Just plain and normal. Thinking about what I’d just yelled would give me an ulcer. I couldn’t blame him for being an intergalactic superstar. The transfers from other galaxies when news got out he attended the Dawson academy came in had been so many the school was inundated with requests. I’d struggled getting into some of my required classes this year because of Aiden being in the same class. That wasn’t his direct doing. He couldn’t help it that he was the number one idol in fashion and one-day acting. In the future once I graduated, I might have to meet him professionally so it was smart to be nice and make connections now.
I sucked at socialising.
I sulked in the corridor outside the last class of the day, before the end of the lunch hour rang and the hall filled with other students and it wasn’t so weird I was the first inside at my usual desk in the back. Thinking about Aiden Wu, we had three classes together, was it so odd he might know my name or talk to me? Now that I recalled, he did talk to most of the class, I deliberately ignored the others when they tried to strike a conversation. I never said the right thing.
My phone vibrated but I ignored it. Right now I needed to concentrate on the test and not think about my dirty boyfriend.
The class filled after a few minutes and the professor came in to start the test. “This test will affect ten-percent of your grade for my class, so you need to do your best.” He sent the documents to our smart computer and continued. “Once you’ve finished, you’re free to leave the room. After leaving the room, you may not come back in and continue the exam.”
I opened the exam and began to work on the first problem. After studying last night it wasn’t too daunting. I’d probably even finish early.
That’s when I felt it. A strange sensation, a tingling, from the chastity belt. I shifted my weight but it followed and I realized the cockcage was vibrating, worse, the lump against my ass was vibrating and I was unable to shift or move to make the sensation not race right to the pleasure centre of my brain.
I balled my hand into a fist, looking around the room, but all my peers, even Aiden Wu, were looking at their computers. I was the only one looking around. The vibration increased a little, the metal felt like it started massaging my dick and I clamped my legs together under the desk, trying not to jump out of my seat.
I couldn’t afford to run to the bathroom, I’d only answered one question, but how was I supposed to do the exam when he was doing this to me?
I bit down a small gasp when the vibration speed and tempo changed again and lowered. I had to ignore it. I didn’t have a choice. Right now I couldn’t get hard inside his dumb chastity belt so unless I made a noise, no one needed to know.
