I wanted to include a short introduction to this story, since it's a re-write of something I originally started not intending to publish.

This novel’s original version contains references to fifty-eight different songs, including written lyrics. Writing out full lyrics is clearly copyright infringement, so in order to publish, I am editing out a few songs and removing the lyrics. I will, however, leave in references to the song title and artist, and list songs in the description of each episode.

Of course, the narrative will flow without lyrics so it can be read as is, but this story is about a relationship that develops around and through music. Many songs are chosen intentionally by its characters. I know you may not be able to play music wherever or whenever you read this, but I hope you will have a chance to listen to some of these songs!
