When did we ever get an uncle who runs a rebellion group? Today. Apparently, we have an uncle who's a rebellion leader. It's super cool if you ask me.
"Uncle Donnovan?!" So, apparently, Ash knows him, good for him. I, on the other hand, know nothing about this man except the fact that he may or may not be a mafia lord? Is he? And that he's our uncle. I didn't even know we had an uncle in the first place, really.
"Look at you kiddos all grown up!" The Donnovan, or Ken guy, went over and engulfed Ash in a tight embrace, leaving me to use the wall as my support. "Anthony! Look at you!' He turned to me and gave me the same tight embrace he gave to Ash. But there was a look that passed over his features, something weird.
"Hey, uh, Uncle Donnovan," Ash definitely sounded much more convincing than I was, It's just that I don't know who he is and this feels a bit awkward, but he's cool though so there's that. He's tall, a bit taller than me so around 6"5, he's built but where there is skin that is showing, there's a scar or two always peeking out. He's wearing a long black trench coat that's buttoned up, so I can't really see much aside from his black metal toe boots.
"I'm so glad you got here safe, no troubles on the way Mave?" Ken looked towards the girl, who lead us to him, who only nodded as a response.
"And I see you have a stowaway?" Our uncle looked towards Hayden, who looked genuinely terrified for the first time in his life.
"No sir, One of our field men in Dispacia used Mr. Pierce's son here to bust the two out of there, She thought he would make a great asset." Hayden visibly tensed up at the mention of his father's last name, which did not go by out uncle's apparent hawk-eye gaze.
"Alright, alright, come let's sit down and talk somewhere." Me, Ashton, and Hayden followed our uncle as the woman, Mave, strolled away to who knows where. I swung my arm around Ashton's shoulders again as I used him as my human cane. Suffering the blow of the moving car for two people is, I admit, a bit rough.
Ken lead us to this gigantic house-like, palace-esque, building in the middle of everything. There were androids and humans roaming around the perimeter, Patterned cloaks hang off on the walls, there were no windows, just straight up holes like the other houses. The building looked to be made of a mixture of cement and mud. There was a single welcoming hologram in the middle of it all, animatedly greeting anyone who passed by.
"Isn't that Aunt Josephine?" Ashton whispered towards me when he caught sight of the hologram. Again, weirdly as it is, I have no recollection of who Aunt Josephine. I just game him a simple, hmph, which seemed to be enough of a response for him. We pushed through the crowd, people greeting Uncle here and there but we stopped for no one. That is because no one even dared to call his attention fully to make him halt.
"Alright boys, welcome to Casa Corleone," We stepped in front of the wooden double doors of the, for a lack of a better term, mud palace. Up close, I can't really tell if it's mud or cement, it looks brownish yellow and all-natural but it's so compact like cement. There was an android waiting for us by the door, who stood up the moment she saw Uncle Ken.
"Sir, here's the bandages that were requested for the guy," The android looked around Ken and sent me a gaze, her face blushing an heating up at the sight of me. Not to be arrogant or anything but, I'm pretty used to looks like that and I'm quite sure I know what she's wanting right now.
"Okay okay, Thank you, Uhm Anthony." Ken turned to look at me, and the android girl stared at me openly like there was no one else was with us. "Get patched up and then we'll talk, okay?" I simply nodded and detached myself from Ashton and was lead by the girl to a separate room.
"I'm sorry," I said as I put back my shirt on, careful not to scrape them on the bandages.
"No, no I- uh, Do you perhaps have, ED?" The android asked cautiously, now fully clothed again. We weren't able to take it any further than me rubbing her because, for some reason, I just can't get it up.
"Nah, probably just had a rough day," She nodded and left the room silently. Not wanting to think any further in my current failure to pleasure a woman, I left the room after her and asked around as to where my uncle was, Thankfully there was a hologram just by the main staircase.
Now that I'm taking a good look at her, She does seem a bit familiar, there's something uncanny about her facial features. I know that she's someone from my past but I just can't quite place where-
DONNIE LOOK OUT!
"Anthony! We're up here!" I looked up and saw Ashton peering at me over the ledge, he was on the top floor with Hayden by his side. I had to squint a little to see them, there was a giant lightbox in the middle of the roof and it was pretty bright, too bright.
"Alright! be there in a minute!" I said and made my way to the mud staircases that would lead up to where they were. There were multiple other rooms around, some were open but the other wooden doors were shut close. There were intricate designs carved on the walls, though other parts of the wall were just plain. I climbed another set of stairs up and reached where Ash was waiting alongside Hayden.
"Finally! You took forever getting 'Patched up'" Ashton sent me a glare, knowing full well what I was up to.
"Not my fault I was too big, she had a hard time wrapping me up," I winked at Ash, who fake gagged.
"Ugh, can we not talk about your promiscuity right now? We just got here and you're already bedding some random girl." Hayden said, leveling his gaze at me and giving me a long hard glare as if he was belittling me just by his stare. How dare he, after I took the blow for both of us when we jumped off that car.
"Relax princess, I used protection. Besides not all of us can be little virgin Marys like you two,"
"What?! I'll have you know that I am far from being a virgin," He puffed, looking away from me, which got me really intrigued.
"Oh really? and who did you do it with then a male slave android? hmm?"
"WHA-?! No one you should ever concern yourself with."
"Can we not talk about this now? We just got here and I'm still wondering, what are we even doing here in the first place?" Ashton interrupted the argument, he was looking over the balcony down to the first floor where there are a few people that come and go. "Everything just went by too naturally, our father got matched, mom also decided to abandon us, therefore we were supposed to be burned before we are thrown into the undergrounds. But then all of out of nowhere, the uncle we had who we thought was exiled and dead comes back to rescue us. Not only that, but he is conveniently the lord of some rebellion group?"
"Shouldn't we just be thankful that you know, you didn't get burned to inevitable death?" Hayden asked from beside me.
"Talking about convenience, you suddenly had a change of heart, what's up with that?" I turned to the shorter boy.
"I didn't have a change of heart! I merely did what was the utmost beneficial at that point in time."
"Bull! I can smell the bull from miles away! You would never do something like that for us without something that would be in it for you. SO tell me, what did they have to give you? some great humpy loving?" I said as Ashton made a face a turned his head away from us.
"What the hell?! Not everything is about s3x! can you just stop thinking about s3x for one moment?!" Hayden stomped off without letting me say anything back.
"I share the same sentiments." Ashton looked back at me once and then turned his attention back to the balcony.
"What?! Of course, I think about things other than s3x." I leaned onto the railing, trying to see what the h3ll my brother is looking at so intently. But he seemed to just be staring off into nothing.
"Believe what you want Anthony," His eyes came into focus when he turned his head to look at me, "Belief what you want."
"Hey, you two! come on, we've got plenty to talk about." Uncle Ken said as he rounds the corner, with Hayden tailing behind him. "I'm sure you've all got questions? I've got time, so lay them on me."
