It was self-defense/MMA class. All the magicalis, went with Ms. Rosalie, while the rest of us stayed with Sapphire. We were starting to warm up with kicks and lunges. Just as we were about to start wrestling, a new student came in our class. The class, not knowing what was going on, watched the scene without even asking.

-Why is she here? I asked.

-Oh. Right! Guys, this is our new member: Presila. answered Sapphire.

Ugh! ANOTHER newbie at school. I hate newbies! They keep on being so fragile and so innocent, and I wouldn’t recommend being on another person’s land without knowing it very well. So far, that newbie that just came out of the helicopter, she wasn’t really like that. She treated her “enemie’s” land as her own, And I like that. But let’s see what THIS chick offers this time.

-Hum…Presila we just finished the exercises and we were just about to start wrestling. Would you like for me to put you aside so that …

-No worries Ms. Sapphire. I already warmed up just before this class started and I’m ready to fight! I mean, start! 😅

-All right? But you can call me simply Sapphire. No ms. . I’ll start making the teams now. Rose and Rosalie, you’re together. Jamal and Makeyla, together. Norawn and Vanessa. Mackenzie and Charlotte. Olivia and Oliver. Max and Jacob…

While she was splitting up the teams, I was staring at the green dressed melon (aka the newbie). She felt responsible and reserved. Ugh! I hate that! When it was almost the end of it and I looked around to see who I was gonna be paired up with. I looked around and there only lasted the 4 of us: Me, The newbie, Arial and TJ. I wanted to be paired up with TJ cause, man! That dude is dope! He loves EXACTLY what I love…and he hates EXACTLY what I hate! It’s the best matchup that could ever be made! But no, Sapphire decided to pair up TJ and Arial. That meant that I was gonna get stuck for the rest of the period, with the newbie.

We gathered up. Teams to teams. And when she saw everyone was ready, Sapphire said:

-All right, folks! The first one who’s down or got out of the circle, loses! Ready?! Go!

We were all on our little mats, trying to not trespass the circle at the same time of not getting knocked out by the other. So far, the newbie has not performed any signs of weaknesses. That meant that she has endurance, strength and intelligence… she was like the BEST fighter I’ve known! (After me, of course!). 

She was quite hardcore and hard to keep up with. It was an interesting battle. We both got out of the circle a couple of times, but we didn’t care. Cause what type of battle consist into staying in a restricted area?! You can do whatever you want! We both started glancing at each other with this: do you want to make things more interesting,  kinda look. And we both knew WE DID wanted to make things more interesting. 

So we went outside the boundary’s and everybody around us, stopped what they were doing and started watching us with a face of surprise. We were both doing so well that even Sapphire stopped her observations to define our grades, and started watching us instead. All of the people around us, started encouraging one another and I did not want this fight to end. They cheered so loud, that they ended up having all my attention, and right when I was not looking and getting distracted by what was happening, that monster, knocked me out on the head and I fell off my bear two feet. That’s it. The fight was over. It was more frustrating for me, since I’ve already lost a battle between the rich kid. Man! This year’s recruits are not joking! Their pretty tough, I can tell you that! Man! I could not get any weaker.
