Dear Fellow Traveler,

My name is Charm, that’s what my mommy calls me because I’m “her little good luck charm” and she loves me lots and lots. Me and mommy live in a little house, just us, because daddy had to go somewhere. He hasn’t been back in a long long time, so mommy get’s sad sometimes.

Mommy had to go do work, so we could have food. I like choccy snackie pies, but mommy says they cost a lot, so we can only have them on a special day called “Yule Times” once a year. I think Yule Times is soon, because Yule Time is when it starts getting cold, and when the long rainbow shows up.

But she hasn’t been back for awhile though, it’s been a long while, I went to bed 4 times and she hasn’t been back yet. She sometimes has to work for a bit, but is always back after bed time. But not this time, and my tummy made some funny noises, it does that sometimes, cause it means I’m hungry. I know not to let mommy know when my tummy makes sounds, or cry, because Imma big girl now, and also because mommy cries when I cry.

Mommy works at a place called “The Safe Zone” and she’s a “Finder” so she has to go and find things people want, and if she find them, we get food. But I gotta stay home when mom goes to find things. Mommy says there are dangerous things outside the place we live, and maybe when Imma grown up, she’ll take me with her. She says because I’m only 6 and too small, the dangerous things might get me cause daddy isn’t around to keep us both safe.

I miss daddy.

A few new persons also came by today on loud bicycles, when the sun was high up in the sky, and Mr. Shadow got small. One of them was a nice lady with a kitty head and a doggy with two heads. The kitty head was big and round and had a pretty ribbon on it, she was super nice, and gave me a snackie. She said it was a veggie bar. The snackie didn’t taste very good, but my tummy didn’t hurt as much any more.

The lady said her name was “Party Ghoul” but said I could call her “PG”

PG was also worried about mommy, saying mommy might have gotten lost, I told her there was no way hose say because mommy is super smart. But PG said if mommy wasn’t back soon, it meant she WAS lost, and if mommy was lost, PG and her friends would help me find her.

Before PG went bye bye with her friends, I remember she said, “Good will breeds Good will,” to one of her friends. I dunno what that means though, but I know mommy will, so I’ll ask her when she comes back, or when PG takes me to go find her.
