Teagan
I frowned. Why had Kain left? I was trying to goad him into marking me, not upset him. I shook my head. Only a boy could be that stupid. I got up and grabbed a robe off my closet door. Tori where is he? Really Teag. Like I'll tell you. You really hurt his feelings. Tori fell silent. "Tori tell me!" I screamed out loud and in my head. She stayed silent. "Be like that." I muttered.
I decided to lay down and wait for him. After the first five minutes I grew restless. After half an hour I started pacing. Where was he? I gave up and grabbed a robe. I followed his scent outside. I heard a punch land on skin. I followed the sound knowing it was Kain. When I reached the back of the house I found Kain and Daemon brawling. I froze watching.
Kain seemed full of rage, charging and throwing blows, but he had calculated attacks. Never striking the same place and never missing, Daemon took on another approach. He was dodging Kain and pinning him when he could. I shook my head. What were they fighting over? Us! Mate is fighting for us! He really cares! Tori shouted. I grinned.
He must have called Daemon. My mate was jealous. It was cute. I decided to let them fight it out. The wind shifted, blowing my scent to them. Kain paused and lifted his nose to the air. "Teagan, I know you're out there." I sighed and stepped out of the shadows. "Why are you fighting?" I asked.
"To show you that I am better. You deserve a strong mate. I will earn that mark." I frowned. "You aren't acting better. I was just trying to get you to mark you. I didn't mean for all of this to happen." I said. I pinched the bridge of my nose.
