*CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS*

So in this whole universe or whatever you wanna call it, there are werewolves humans, and vampires...  yes vampires which you will meet later on in the story.

 Anyways let start off with how the pack's work I guess:

The Alpha is the leader of the pack and has been born into being a werewolf or has been voluntarily bitten or otherwise changed. The Alpha wolf is first in command and the rest of the pack is expected to follow their lead. 

*Before I continue with the pack hierarchy and all that G stuff any human literally anyone can be changed into a werewolf *

The Beta of the pack is the Alpha’s second in command. The Beta will step up should the Alpha leave the pack or is killed or injured to the point where they can no longer lead a pack of their own. 

The deltas are second in command to the Betas, or third in command to the whole pack. 

The elders are generally very old werewolves that might not be able to help the pack physically but can give them sound advice on being a werewolf, changing others into werewolves, and how to escape an attack. 

The den mother, just like in a real wolf pack, is to stay in the den and mind the young pups. The den mother will bring the pups food, take them out when need be, and generally take care of them. The pups are werewolves that are just starting to grow up and are really too young to have any real role or rank within the pack.

The omega wolves are usually the weakest wolves in the pack. They are usually considered to be at the bottom of the totem pole in werewolf-ranking and are sometimes picked on by the other members of the pack. They also are often not highly involved in the pack and tend to live on the outskirts and keep to themselves.

*I forgot to add that for the less obvious one's alphas, betas, deltas, and omegas can all either be male or female doesn't matter also this is not an omegaverse  ***GUYS CANNOT GET PREGNANT!!!!!!***  but two males or two females can be mates ( I support LGBT considering I'm apart of it)*

The leaders of each pack may challenge one another for positions within the chain of command. The hierarchy generally falls along with experienced levels, with the most experienced werewolf commanding the entire pack. Any werewolf who wishes to be above another werewolf in the chain of command must challenge him. If the opponent accepts the challenge, they must fight to the death, or until one submits. Declining a challenge indicates acceptance of the other werewolf's authority.

When humans change into their wolf form they may retain some physical characteristics of their human form when in wolf form. For instance, a human who limps may also limp in wolf form. Black-haired werewolves are black-furred in wolf form; auburn-haired werewolves have a touch of red in their gray fur. As with normal wolves, most werewolves are paler on their outside (throat, chest, and belly). Eye color remains the same in human or in wolf forms.

Mating- 

haha onto the more spicy aspect of werewolves uhhhhhhhhh so when a werewolf wants to mate with another werewolf they will have sexual intercourse with one another and at the end whoever is leading/top in the relationship, will bite their partner either in the left crook, the right crook, or the back of the neck which creates a bond that cannot be broken until death through this connection they can find each other talk to each other mentally and somewhat can feel each other's emotions. ( wow this is getting way to close to an omegaverse for my liking 0_0)
