I got up earlier than usual to meet Jake on the cemetery before work, we have always done it like that. He prefers to meet his dad when there’s no one else. Except me, him, and his dad.

I saw him standing by the gate, I yell at him “Hey, Jake!” He turns to me and smiles. We open the gateway, and slowly strolled towards his dad’s gravestone. We both stand Infront of the gravestone. Jake likes to update his father with his life, telling how his mom is, and all that. I suddenly hear him say “I still haven’t found anyone...” wait for what?!? “What happened to Jenny?” I burst out loud, he turns to me. Oh shit! I didn’t mean to say that out loud! He then looks down at the snow. It's filled with grey dots from the mud outside by the gate.

He sighs and says, “She cheated on me.” WHAT! “How did that happen?!?” I get up to my eye level, and says with an unstable voice “I was going to ask her personally to come with me here today, but when I got there, she was all over someone else...”

“I’m sorry to hear that”, he smiles and says, “Don’t be, you came with me today, that’s all that matters!” We then sit down on a bench and he asks me about what I did with the ticket dilemma. I hadn’t really thought much more about it since I got home last night.

I ended up hiding the tickets on a shelf, I still haven’t asked Cheonsa, nor called mom. I don’t know what to do, I can’t exactly just cut all contact with my family, but I don’t think forcing Cheonsa to come with me to meet my family, is a power move either.

I didn’t answer Jake on that question, and we ended up cutting it shorter than normal. Biggest reasoning to that was we both are adults now, and have work, neither of us live with our families.

After work, I got home to see the whole apartment filled with Christmas decorations, and Cheonsa stood there cooking again. He wore an ugly Christmas sweater and a reindeer ears on his head, he turned around and smiled at me, “I wanted to surprise yo...” Before he could say anything else, I jumped on him, and kissed him. My body got heated up, the second we started kissing, we had to get rid of our clothes.

We will be naughty kids tonight...
