- Saber's Point of View -
I woke up again. Everywhere in the Anti-void is now a dark grey. Sighing I got up. Made myself some food, but it glitched in my mouth, that made my mouth burn. Jesus, I just want to get out of here. patience, that'll keep me sane. Just have to be patient, it'll take some time...how long have I been gone though?
- Nick's Point of View -
I'm worried now, Saber isn't here. It's been a week, I wonder where he is. Everything is in perfect position, he went into his room. That was the last I saw him, I'm worried about him. The only that is weird is that there's a pentagram on the ground, and one of the books I gave him is open. Did one of the rituals actually work? Oh no.
I called up my friend who I got the books from, he said that the rituals would work. I scolded him, but I knew it was also my fault for not believing him about the books. I asked him about where Saber could be, he didn't give me a straight answer. He just said 'There are many different places he could be'. I asked him how to get Saber out, 'Depends on how Saber is taking the world he's in. The Stability of his mind will set him free'. After that, I hung up on him, I guess I'm useless in the situation...
- A Month Later -
He's still not here. Did he die? Is he gone forever? Will he come back? Has he gone insane? Did he lose his mental stability? I'm losing my mind worrying about him. I better clear my head or something, maybe I'll take a walk. I put a baggy jacket and some heavy-duty pants on as I walked outside. The trees swayed as snow fell off of them, the little snowflakes fell from the sky.
It was a nice view, I enjoy walking around the forest at this time of view...It would be better if Saber was here...
- Saber's Point of View -
I was sitting Indian style, meditating I guess. I was at peace with myself, peace with my world. Everything was perfect for me, quiet, I miss hearing Nick check-in on me. The lack of knocking on my door has bothered me. I opened an eye as I felt like something was touching me, but closed my eye since I thought it must've just been my shirt or something.
I kept feeling the same thing, so I looked behind me. Shocked as I saw a glitching portal, it looked just like the one that I got dragged into that brought me here. I wonder if it will send me back...It's worth a try. I got up and put my foot in it, quickly retracting my foot back. It was as hot as lava, oh hell no. I decided to wait until later as he went back to my meditating position.
After a while, I felt something wrap against my shirt. I didn't flinch as I continued to meditate, then I was dragged into the portal. Except it was as cold as ice now, I held my breath as I felt as if I was in water now. I was definitely in water now, because I poked my head out the surface of the water. I looked around and quickly grabbed onto some rocks next to me.
I dragged myself onto the snowy grass nearby, breathing heavily as I tried to warm myself up. "Great, I have nothing on my feet, it's snowy. And I have no idea where to go." I said to myself as I looked around. I just swam out of a lake, a very deep one. I looked around as I shivered, seeing my breath in front of me.
"Hey, there lad! What are you doing in shorts and a short-sleeve shirt? Trying to freeze yourself to death? Did you just take a swim?" I heard someone yell, looking to my right I saw an older man. I faced him as he stumbled towards him. "It's a long story sir, please forgive me. Did I interrupt you? Or was I trespassing? If so, I deeply apologize." I said before bowing a bit.
"What? Oh, you didn't trespass at all. It's normal for people to walk around the lake. I just heard the water splashing, so I went to check out what the noise was. C'mon follow me, I'll get you some warmth." The man said before he started walking away, I followed along slowly. Soon, we reached his house and I walked inside. I took a seat on the couch as he gave me a blanket, I thanked him.
- A Week Later -
I finally felt better and decided to go home. After thanking the man, I went to find home. I knew it was somewhere in the forest, that's all I had to go by. I was still wearing my clothes, shivering again. I stayed quiet as I took a step into the forest, hearing the different sounds. Small little feet, the leafs rustling in the trees, the sounds of birds flying overhead, it felt so...peaceful. I felt at home, I never heard this in the Void, the Void was always so quiet.
I found the house after who knows how long, just how it always was. I smiled as I found it, it looked just as it was. I don't know how long it's been though. I minus well find out from Nick. I knocked on the door and waited, I heard footsteps and then the door's lock click. The door opened quickly as I quickly pulled into a hug. "Saber you're back!"
