This episode takes place in the past.
Slowly Samuel rose from his bed, looking over at his lover that was asleep beside him. He chuckled quietly, bending down and kissing her cheek.
The woman was awake. She moved her head and kissed Samuel on the lips. The passionate kiss lasted for a few seconds before ending. She smiled, "Good morning, love."
Samuel bent down and kissed her again, "Aubrey, I love you." He finally said it. The tree dreadful words, I love you. Samuel looked into Aubrey's eyes. 'Why wasn't she saying it back.' The thought raced his mind.
Aubrey bent up and kissed him, "I love you! I love you too!" She kissed him and got up off of the bed.
"Where are you going?" Sam tilted his head and smiled.
"Shower, join me?" She giggled. She was wearing Samuel's tea-shirt. It was over sized on her small figure, draping over her skin. She looked like she was out of a movie. She was standing holding onto the bedpost, the sun shone through the window, giving her a bright outline, her curly brown hair fell over her shoulders.
"You're perfect." Samuel was enchanted.
Aubrey giggled and ran for his bathroom, "Come and get me!"
Samuel shot up and darted after her. He grabbed her arm and pulled her in, he kissed her passionately. The shower had already started. Samuel lifted her onto the counter, their lips were glued together, they only parted when the took off their clothing, throwing them to the floor.
Aubrey jumped off of the counter, pulling Sam into the shower. Their wet bodies rubbed up against each other. Aubrey softly bit down on his lip, hopping up and wrapping her legs around his wet body. Sliding down a bit landing herself on Samuel's erection. She let out a soft moan.
Samuel looked over, Aubrey had just left his bedroom after cleaning herself up. Samuel smiled, "Hey beautiful." Aubrey walked over and sat on his lap, kissing him softly.
"Who me?" She giggled, kissing him again, "I know." She got up and walked into the kitchen, grabbing the coffee pot and putting some into a cup.
Sam got up and grabbed his computer from the counter, setting it on the table he sat down and logged in. "Celiene from work is dropping by today to give me some papers." He looked over to Aubrey, "Is that.. Ok with you?"
She sighed, "Yes, only because it's for work. You're mine." She smiled and took a sip of her coffee.
"Yes ma'am."
Knock, knock, knock. Celiene knocked on the door. She waited for Sam to answer. She held the papers in her right hand, her phone in the other.
"Hey! Thanks for dropping these by!" Samuel opened the door, he smiled scratching his head.
"Oh! It was really no problem." She smiled looking down at the ground. 'I wanted to see you.' She looked up again, the thought skimmed her mind. She knew he was evolved. It was ok though, she wasn't trying to sleep with him.
"Would you like to come in, there's coffee." He opened his door a bit more. Slowly he stepped to the side, letting her in. He walked over to the kitchen grabbing a cup from the last cupboard. He filled it up with coffee and handed it to her, "Careful, its hot."
She grabbed it carefully. "Should I set the papers here?" She walked over to the table looking over at Sam. He nodded, taking a sip of his coffee. She set them down, along with her coffee. Celiene looked down and yelped loudly. There was a spider at her feet.
The sudden sound made Samuel jump, making him spill coffee on his shirt. He cussed under his breath and took it off. Celiene turned around and ran into Samuel. She looked up and kissed him.
That second Aubrey walked in. She dropped the groceries she was carrying and ran off. Samuel pushed Celiene away and ran after Aubrey. "Wait please! I didn't kiss her!" He shouted as he ran after his lover. He reached her in her car, "Aubrey, please. I love you!" She looked up, tears streamed down her face. She put the car in drive and left, Samuel stood on the road in shock.
He walked back up to his apartment, standing outside the door he stared at the fallen groceries. A single tear fell and landed on some tomatoes. Celiene appeared at the door, "Sam, I'm so so sorry."
He looked up, anger spread across his face. “This is all your fault. Get out of my apartment.. Now!” His voice rang down the hall. Celienes face dropped, she was sad, and scared. Samuel stepped back and looked her in the eyes, “Did I not make myself clear?!”
Celiene jumped and ran down the hall, tears streaming down her pink face. ‘I'm sorry, i'm so Samuel.’
He watched her run, as she turned the corner to start descending the stairs that led outside. He bent down and started to pick up the groceries. He picked them in and brought them inside his cramped apartment, setting them on the counter.
He looked down, what had gone wrong? Were all the, I love you’s, for nothing? He sighed.
Knock, knock. Samuel looked at the door, “Coming!” He ran to the door, stopping to catch his breath before opening it, “Aubrey.. Please let me explain- im sorry.” His eyes were filled with sadness and despair.
“I.. I drove around the block,” She stopped wiping a tear, “I'm here for my belongings.” Samuel's jaw dropped.
“Please! Aubrey let me explain!” Tears dropped to the floor as he ran after her. “Aubrey, please. I didn't ask for it, please.” He searched for words in his heartbroken mind. All that appeared was please.
She looked up sadly, “I'm sorry Samuel.” She kissed his cheek and left him there, alone and heartbroken. He gulped holding back an ocean of tears. Slowly he dragged himself to his bed and laid down, his saddened thoughts dragging his brain as he fell into a dreamless slumber.
He woke up the next day with a bottle of empty wine and hard alcohol sitting next to him, beer cans scattered across the floor. He looked over to his right, his phone was on this side. He picked it up and unlocked it, his phone barely recognizing his puffy reddened face.
That night he had drunkenly called Aubrey forty seven times, as well as sending her nineteen texts. He sighed, setting his phone down.
Slowly Samuel got up, he mad his way to his shower, and washed his salty body from all the tears he had let free last night. He got out and dried off, putting on a nice outfit and brushing his wavy black hair, it had grown to just around the middle of his ears.
After cleaning, he packed all of his clothes, witch was not muck, and some sentimental items. He grabbed his phone and his wallet. Slowly he looked around, as if saying goodbye to this place. It was his first personal space after parting ways with his sister. Oh! His sister, he picked up his phone, unlocked it and went into contacts. Scrolled through the long list landing on his sisters name. He called, waiting for her to answer.
"Sammie!" She squealed.
"Nina!" He chuckled. "Im coming over, is that ok?"
"Yes yes yes! Ill start getting the room ready!" She hung up almost instantly.
Samuel pulled his phone away from his ear and scrolled through is contacts, landing on his boss. It rang twice before his eager boss answered, "Samuel?"
"Hey Landon! Im quitting."
"Your what?"
"Im quitting, bye!" Samuel hung up. He grabbed his house key and left the apartment, going down to the owners office, his landlords office. He walked in.
"Samuel! What can I do for you?" The man took off his glasses and folded his hands.
"Hey Frank, im returning this.." He sighed, handing his old landlord his old apartment key. Franks face flipped from a happy expression to a confused one.
"Ok Samuel. Well thank you."
"Yup. Bye." Sam left the office and went over to his car unlocking it and getting in. He looked over to the picture of Aubrey on his dashboard. He grabbed it and ripped it up, he threw it on the floor and popped the trunk. He got out and put all of his luggage in his trunk. He shut it and got back in the car, starting it, he closed his door.
"This is it.." He put in in drive and drove away, away from his life with Aubrey, away from hi boring job, away from his old apartment. He shook his head and turned on the radio, turning it onto the pop station. He slid on his glasses and smiled for the first time today.
