When I walked over to the lady,I asked her what the problem was and why the baby was crying that much. She told me that she was a house help and her boss had gone to withdraw some money from the bank I wondered why the boss would leave her house help by the road with the baby, something seemed fishy but the baby was crying so loud that I thought it was better to find the baby's mother first . I asked the lady to come with me to the bank so that we could find the mother's baby but she refused and said the mother could still be busy so it was better to go home and attend to the baby . I advised her that it would be better to inform her boss before she went back home but she said she had forgotten to bring her phone and asked to use mine. The bank was just across the road but instead of just crossing the road and getting in the bank,I willingly offered my phone . I too thought taking a crying baby to the bank was a bad idea.

After the call,she told me that her boss had told her to wait since she was done with what she was doing already. She used a language I could not understand so I could not be sure.

"Look!there she is!"

We saw a lady walk out of the bank but we were on the other side of the road so she could only wave at her...the lady saw us and sure enough she crossed the road and come to us. 

"What happened to the baby?"

She said those words as she took the baby to her arms. Then something unusual happened,the house help told her boss that I was her friend and that she didn't know what she would have done without me there to help but I was getting late so I just did not pay attention to that either I just assumed that she felt so thankful for my help that she considered me a friend so I said goodbye and walk away...

Just as I was about to cross the road, I heard a lady scream on looking back it was the boss but this time she was just holding the baby alone screaming "please help! someone help,catch her,catch her!she has grabbed my bag"

But I could not see her house help so I rushed back. People had started gathering around too. On getting there,I tried to enquire from her what the problem was but instead of telling me what had happened,she asked the people who had gathered around to catch me . She said that her house help had tricked her and snatched her bag which had a good amount of money that she had just withdrawn from the bank for her business and I was the accomplice.

She said that I was her house help's friend she proved by the fact that the house help had used my phone to contact her when she was in the bank and ofcourse it could be seen from her call logs. I tried to explain what happened just to prove my innocence  but I  had no evidence I even tried to tell them that if I was the accomplice,I wouldn't have come back after hearing the scream that I'd have run away instead but no one listened to me !! Within seconds,what seemed to be a little misunderstanding to me turned into a police case!!!!

Someone had called the police already.!
