Max begins to feel hungry, and bored, so decides to go downstairs. He looks through the cabinets, trying to find some biscuits, or maybe tea.

"Hey."

Max jumps as he hears a voice of someone behind him, but is relived when he finds Will, Noah's brother, standing in the doorway to the kitchen.

"Oh...Hi! Will, right?"

"Yeah, yeah. Do you want a cup of tea?" Will asks, walking towards the kitchen counter.

"Yeah, that would be nice, thanks." Max replies.

"So, are you Noah's secret boyfriend or something?" Will chuckles, switching on the kettle. "Although he is really kind, so it would make a lot of sense for you to be a random person he felt the need to be kind to."

"Yeah we um...I was on the railway track, just thinking, because my parents kicked me out and he was just nice to me."

"Sounds a lot like him," Will puts teabags in two mugs and pours water and a splash of milk in each one, "Why did you get kicked out?"

"I...Well I told them I was gay, haha. Yeah, they weren't too happy...I think that's the most I've heard the F slur come from two people's mouths within a minute ever."

"Oh. That sucks."

Max takes the tea that Will hands to him. "Thanks."

After chatting for a while, Max walks up the stairs to Noah's room and watches Youtube on his phone while waiting for him to get home.

Option A) Noah comes back into the room and hisses for him to hide

Option B) Noah throws a bag of various chocolate bars at Max and tells him when his parents will be back
