"P-Please.....sp-spare.....m-my.....ch-children...." The disgraceful creature before me begged. The bitch kneeling on the ground had two black eyes, a broken nose, a few missing teeth, blood.
"Hmm..." My partner and long time friend, Chase, hummed, ".....how about no." Chase had porcelain skin, long brown hair that went past her shoulders, a small round nose, dark blue eyes, high cheekbones, a curvy body, and pouty lips. Chase was my partner because she always gathered excellent intel on our targets. She always made sure that the information she had was accurate and she never missed any details whatsoever. Even though she was the intel, she was also the one who helped me to eliminate targets because she loved the rush that came from it. Like now for instance. Chase raised her arm and brought down her axe upon the sniveling younger child's head. Blood spurted onto Chase's face and clothes. The husband and the oldest child screamed in horror at what they witnessed. Chase laughed maniacally as she looked down at the now dead rat that lied on the ground with an axe in the middle of their head. Chase pressed the axe deeper into the head of the child while they all screamed and yelled for us to stop.
"Man, I love watching them bleed," She smirked. She wrenched the axe out of the child's head and then pointed it at the next child.
"You're next," She chuckled.
"Please! Don't do this!" The bitch screeched. I had almost forgot that she was there. It was annoying to hear her scream right now, but there was some information we needed from her about any other witches that might be located in this town. Raising my leg, I kicked her in the face. She cried out in pain and fell to the ground.
"Anna!" Her husband, the traitor to his own kind, yelled, "Leave is alone! We didn't anything!"
"Yes you did, you traitor! You mated with that devil worshipping bitch and created dangerous offspring with her," Chase snapped.
"She is not a devil worshipper!" He yelled, "She is a good woman who has never done anything to harm us nor has she ever used her powers to hurt us."
"That's what they all say," Chase scoffed. She walked over and swung her axe again. The sound of the blade cleanly slicing through his neck reached my ears. The abomination next to him screamed in horror as she saw her creator's head drop to the ground with a loud 'thud'.
"Are you going to give us the information we need or do we have to continue this until you finally talk?" I asked. She sobbed on the ground as she looked at her dead partner. After getting tired of her blubbering, I reached down and yanked her up roughly by the hair.
"For every second that you don't tell us what we need to know, we'll cut a finger off of your little girl's hand," I hissed into her ear. Chase walked over to the girl with a knife in her hand that was sharper than any blade in the world. When used properly, it can slice cleanly through bone.
"Now are you going to tell us or is she going to have to start cutting?" I asked.
"And I've been dying to have something to wear around my neck," Chase grinned as she inched knife closer towards the girl's hand.
"NO! NO! I'LL TALK! I'LL TALK!!!" She shrieked.
"Then talk," I spat through gritted teeth. She began to tell us all the information we needed to know within seconds as she watched Chase warily until finally she was done.
"Pl-please l-let m-my b-baby g-go," She stuttered.
"Alright," I simply responded as I took out my pistol.
"Th-" She dropped dead in an instant. The little girl screamed out loud. Chase kicked her onto her back.
"God. I hate children," She muttered. The axe was once again in the air and Chase brought it down on her chest. Her screams were soon silenced.
"They are not what I would call children," I said.
"You're right. I hate vermin," She corrected. I chuckled softly.
"Come on. Let's get this area cleaned up," I said. She nodded and helped me to drag the bodies in the middle of the woods that we were located in. We each stacked the bodies on top of each other. I grabbed the jug of gasoline that we always carried with us. I poured it around the area where we had created a mess and on top of the bodies before Chase lot the fire. We left quickly so we wouldn't get caught in the flames.
"I'm so mad that she didn't even give me a chance to take home a souvenir," Chase groaned. Chase always loved to take souvenirs from our targets. It was a little weird to me, but I didn't judge. Everyone has their own hobbies, some weirder than most.
"Thankfully, this is our last target of the night so all there is left to do is to just go home, take shower, binge watch a few episodes of Grey's Anatomy, and go to sleep," She sighed.
"While you do that, I'll be reporting back to the council and train after that," I informed her.
"Training is all you ever do," She rolled her eyes.
"I have to get stronger so I can take out those damn witches," I hissed.
"Yeah yeah," She muttered, "No wonder you don't have a girlfriend."
"A girlfriend is only a distraction and I don't need that right now," I said.
"You kinda do considering how all you do is just train, eat, eliminate targets, report to the council, train some more, and sleep," She explained.
"There's nothing wrong with taking my job seriously, Chase," I retorted.
"Whatever you say," She mumbled as we got into my truck. Once we were both buckled in, I started the truck and we drove off.
"Did you take care of the house?" I asked.
"Yeah. Max gave me an explosive earlier that pretty much burns things to a crisp so that way the police won't obtain any evidence whatsoever," She explained.
"Good. Can't leave behind any clues," I nodded.
"Nope," She shook her head.
