As expected it took a whole lot of time to heal from what I have gone through my first heat. To be exact it took my two years. I wasn't healed at all at the age of sixteen, but I was strong enough to go on and to trust people again. But it did not come from one day to another. It was only capable through the help of my best friends, my brother and a therapist. And the fact that our king of school was now in college and his bunch of hounds was gone with him. So my biggest worry was taken away from me for my time of high school. I got a bunch of anxiety attacks in the last two years. Every time Nesoto came near to me, I ran to the toilet or if they were too far away, I dunk in a corner, they sometimes came even when I was home, but that was most of the time when I slept, so I was nearly never alone with them, cause in school I got Raven and Jessy by my site all the time and at home where Jason. He never left my side aside from school since the incident. Since Nesoto transitioned to college, the anxiety attacks got less and less and my life began slowly to go back to normal. Within the age of sixteen my life turned another time, but this time better. I met someone special for me. A fox who ran over our pack's land. Since he was nearly a cup we took him under our wings. He was sixteen just like me. Another shapeshifter. The name is Finn, he's a guy my height, so pretty small, with red hair and sprinkles on nose and cheeks, more the feminine type of guy, but with a little bit of muscles. Just my type to be honest. He joined our high school class and we became friends really quick. He once told me that his mother was shot, while they were looking for food in their fox form near a human village. What a shame. But that’s another story.

One day Finn, Jessy, Raven and I were on our way to cafeteria. Babbling about random stuff like we ever did. “It's a wonder you hang out with me guys” Finn then said with a serious face. The three of us looked at him. “Why though?” Jessy asked. “Well, I´m a beta after all”.
