Teagan
After two weeks of dealing with the financial struggles of my father's death I was tasked with the job of finding an alpha for our pack. Out of all the jobs they could have given me this one was pretty tame, but it was time consuming.
I still can't believe I lost my innocence a couple nights ago. I wouldn't change it for the world, but the timing seemed off for me. Kain was still there for me like any good mate should be. He didn't complain when I was tired or cried on his shoulder. And I loved him for that. I knew he wanted to talk about that night, I wanted to too. But I was tired.
“Teag.” My name brought me back from the back of my mind. “Yes.” I covered my mouth as I yawned. “You return to school tomorrow.” I nodded. “You have your own pack to take care of. You may leave.” I tried to smile, but failed as another yawn came out. “Thanks Tulip. Me and my mate shall take our leave.”
I stood up and followed Kain's comforting scent to our bedroom. “We can go home now. They've got it all under control.” I yawned again. Although I was next to Kain I was still tired. “I can go with you to your pack.” Kain said. I shook my head.
“Once I tell them about you I won't be able to stay there. I want to set up a new alpha before I leave.” I yawned again. “You can drop me off though, I'm to tired to run.” Kain nodded. After 2 minutes of goodbyes we were outside.
Kain shifted into his beautiful wolf. I hopped on him and laid down. He started running smoothly. The rhythm of his paws hitting the ground lulled me to sleep. All to soon the ride was over. “Teag.” Kain was holding me in his human form. I slipped out of his arms. “Bye.” I gave him a quick kiss, and ran up to the pack house.
“Alpha's back!” I opened the door and was confronted by Alice. “Oh my god. Did you finally give in? You smell like another alpha, and you hold his seed! Who?!” She squealed. I groaned. “I'm tired Alice.” I yawned to emphasize my point. She groaned and led me upstairs. I sighed. At least she didn't press it.
When we got to my door I smiled. It would be nice to sleep on my bed, in my sheets. I opened the door and ran into my bed. I waited for sleep to show it's face but it kept avoiding me. I was so tired, why couldn't I just all asleep? Mate. We need Mate to sleep. I rolled my eyes at Tori. I tossed and turned for another hour. Maybe Tori was right.
