His Mate took him to the back of the building where a delivery truck was. Jadeika stopped shortly when he saw a handful of omegas going into the back, two alphas and a beta urging them that they were safe. His instincts warned him that this was a dangerous situation. The omegas’ fear and uncertainly waft the air. He took a step back to run but the alpha tighten his grip and pulled him along. He opened the door of the passenger side and pushed him forward.

Jadeika grabbed the door, trying to push back out.

“Get in.” growled the alpha.

Jadeika flinched. Obey! His instants raged. Run! His survival instincts raged.

“I said get in.” At that command came the pheromones.

Submit! His wolf cried. Alpha says get in. Be a good omega. Please alpha. Jadeika succumbed to his instinct and did as told. The door slammed shut once he was in. He watched his Mate walk in back then disappear. After a few moments the door of the delivery truck was shut. Jadeika flinched when the alpha shut the door on his side. Alpha mumbled angrily as he started the engine. Before long they were on their way. As soon as they were away from the manor the alphas’ irritation died down.

Jadeika’s body relaxed when that happen.

“Sorry,” he muttered.

Jadeika jumped, glancing at him

“I didn’t mean to frighten you. We had to leave fast and I didn’t have the time to explain.”

“Ok...” Jadeika answered, not sure what to say.

Alpha sighed, trying to smile. “My names Elijah. Yours?”

“Jadeika,”

“Well its nice to meet you Jadeika.”

Jadeika looked at Elijah. At once guilt overwhelmed him. “I’m sorry...” he mumbled.

Elijah was taken aback. “”Sorry for what?”

“For...” He trailed off. He crunched his shoulders, trying to look as small as possible. Jadeika knew Alphas hated it when their omegas go around mating with others- or doing anything for that matter- without their permission. It was known for alphas to abandoned their disobeying omegas. He didn’t want to be one of those.

Elijah smelt his fear over the smell of his heat. “Hey its okay. I’m not gonna hurt you.”

“I tried to fight back!” Jadeika cried, trying to defend himself. “I wasn’t going to let him have me! I swear!”

Elijah’s knuckles clenched the stirring wheel. The same reaction every abused omega gave when an alpha cornered them.

“I’ll be good from now on!” Tears burst onto his face. “So please don’t sell me like the others! You’re my Mate, I would never-!”

“Jadeika,” Elijah said firmly.

Jadeika jumped in fear. Elijah’s shoulders relaxed. He let out a few calming pheromones. At once Jadeika melted against the seat.

“Come here, lean against me.”

Hesitant at first Jadeika did as told. Once he leaned into him he inhaled his scent, eyes fluttering. Elijah petted his head.

“Don’t go jumping to conclusions, Jadeika. I’m not gonna sell. Never gonna sell you.”

The remaining tension was gone. Before he could say anymore the omega was sleeping. Elijah petted him a bit more before withdrawing. Poor kid was exhausted. He couldn’t believe he would find his Mate there of all places. The many scents that lingered on him told him that he mate with more than one male recently. The scents were muted and if he hadn’t been smelling for them he would not have noticed. He was so skinny that he could feel his bones through his shirt. It wasn’t good for a werewolf to be that skinny, especially an male omega. He had to go home and care for his Mate soon or he would go crazy.

Jadeika awoke to voices. The truck was no longer running and his Mate was gone. The smell of omegas was gone as well. He rubbed his eyes, trying to wake.

“Its growing worse.” growled Elijah.

Jadeika flinched but soon relaxed when he realize the irritation wasn’t directed at him. He peered out the window and saw Elijah standing with another alpha.

“I’ve never seen so many beaten omegas being sold. I didn’t realize there were so many bastard alphas out there.”

“That’s why we are infiltrating those slavery rings. We all know the importance of omegas. I get that they are there to calm raging pack members and to take a bit of the aggravation but they are not to be abused to the point that they are afraid to voice their opinions. Omegas are too important to a pack to be treated like that.”

Elijah looked over his shoulder towards the truck. He ran his hand through his hair. “I’m glad I could help on this.” He looked back at the other. “I gotta go,”

“I know. Its hard to keep composure when you have an omega who needs you.”

“You can tell?”

“I also know the smell of fated pairs. Go. Poor kid is terrified.” He winkled his nose. “And in heart. Damn!”

“Call me when you’re ready for another rescue.”

“Will do. Enjoy yourself.”

“Hmph!” Elijah turned on his heel and headed back to the truck. Once inside Jadeika fidgeted.

“I didn’t mean to eavesdrop.”

“Its not like we were whispering secrets to each other.”

“Yeah,”

Jadeika’s heat spiked and Elijah groaned. “You’re making it hard to focus. Take it down a notch.”

“I’m trying...” Jadeika groaned. “I need to be taken! I’m dying!”

“First I need to get you home, to the safety of my den before anything. Then we’ll go from there.”

“Kay,” He lowered his eyes defeated.

“Good,” He started the truck and they were on their way.

Elijah owned twenty acres of land that had a mountain as its back drop. He bought it after he left his pack. He built a small cabin out of the lumber on his property. He never thought that he’d bring an omega here or even consider how nice it would be to start a family with him. Once Jadeika was safe in his territory Elijah was no longer on edge that his omega was going to be taken by another alpha. Jadeika sat in front of the fireplace as Elijah lit it.

“I’ll be back.” he said, turning away from the fireplace. His desire to feed his skinny omega override his desire to mate him but Jadeika was having none of it.

“Please take me, alpha!” Jadeika whimpered, grabbing his shirt. “I’ve been good...” He attempted to climb Elijah.

Elijah gently took Jadeika’s head into his hands and gently placed a kiss to his forehead. “Yes, you’ve been good but I’m afraid if I take you you’ll snap in two. You’re so skinny.”

“I’m not that fragile!’ he pouted his lower lip.

Elijah giggled before taking Jadeika’s hand and leading him into his bedroom. He had him sit on the bed. Jadeika didn’t take anytime in straddling Elijah’s lap. He pressed their lips together, kissing deeply. Elijah slide his hand down Jadeika’s back towards his backside. Slipping his fingers inside.

“There,” Jadeika pant in his alpha’s ear, wiggling his hips. “Mate me...” He moaned as his hands went into Elijah’s pants. “Mate me with this...”

Elijah groaned into Jadeika’s neck, the place where his neck and shoulder met. He gently bit down onto him. At once Jadeika cum. Elijah nibbled his neck a bit before letting go of his flesh. His Mate was jelly in his hands.

“I’m tired...” Jadeika muttered. Now that he was sated for the time being he was sleepy. “Stay with me, Mate.” He snuggled his face into his lap.

That word melted Elijah’s heart. “Okay,” He gently petted his head.
