“No, we can hold her hostage... and as bait.” Okarg announced, feeling more confident now that he had the numbers again, even though he no longer ruled the pack. “I know they will come searching for this one... she seems important somehow.”
“How can we do that if they don’t know how to find this place?” Malach’s irritation served to further Okarg’s ambitious plan.
“We will use pieces of her dress, soaked in her blood to lure them into our traps.” Okarg felt his chest fill out with pride as he made his ingenious plan known.
A master hunter like him would never again be born in this world, of that he felt sure. “We can feed for days like this.”
“Ah, we get to bleed her... this plan does have merit.” Malach’s slanted eyes gleamed with malice. “A better plan would be to eat her now and use her blood to lure in the others.”
“Fool!” Leragh laughed. “Once we have devoured her, we will no longer have her fresh blood to bait the others.”
Okarg enjoyed the scowl on Malach’s narrow face. The often considered to be dim-witted Leragh made more sense than Alpha Malach just then.
“We can at least eat a limb or two.” The scrawny creature whined.
