Whispering
to the children to keep moving on, Madora sat down and pretended to tie her
boot straps.
She waited for the last of the group, the Alvaine, to pass, and
deftly snuck out the rabbit meat she had hidden during the meal.
She knew most
of her companions disliked the notion of her decision to keep the pup, but she
couldn’t help feel for the creature.
