-Father, did you call for me?
-Yes, child take this human back home with you and throw him in the red lake!
-But… I understand, as you wish father.
-Go now, I still have work here.
With a node of agreement my son jumped and cared the human and disappeared in the shadows. Well now that that is settled, for now at least.
Now, I have wasted enough time let’s go for that blacksmith I don’t think he will wait for much longer.
.
.
.
So this is the great forge? , it doesn’t look that special. It kind of looks like every other building from the outside, well no need to fuss about it let’s go in.
The Forge
From the inside it looked like another place not even connected to the outside world not even slightly, the whole lounge was made out of steal and the heat of the forge hit you the second you cross the inner doors which were made out of steal as well and on them were carving in Cuneiform. There were some humans in there nearly 10 of them each one manning his anvil and knocking, they couldn’t see me of course as I did not allow them.
Observing these humans work was intriguing to say the least, they had no special abilities nor any talent that I could sense yet they were incredibly dedicated to the object they were shaping as I was leaning in trying to observe the work of one blacksmith who was constricting what looked like a helmet he was working with great speed and precision it entertaining to just look at him work.

-So the God of Death has finally graced us with his presence!
Said a voice that I had heard before. I turned around to see the old grand smith of the gods standing behind me his beard more glorious than ever and his body as short as ever although he looks more and more muscular each time I see him.
- Isiratuu, there you are smith didn’t think it would take you this long to find me
-what can I say but to admire your ability to conceal your presence lord Nergal. I am sorry to report that but lord Hadad has left a while ago, he left a package for you but if you may don’t open it in her as it’s probably not a thing we are supposed to see.
-I see I was expecting that he wouldn’t wait for me, the temper on that guy ha-ha. Anyway where is that Package you were talking about?
-There it is lord Nergal.
The smith handed me a small wooden box it didn’t look that important but if Hadad gave left it for me it should at least be interesting I told myself.
.
.
-Now if you may follow me to the main forge, your request is finished as I told you in my previous letter. I did have some problems in the construction process but all of them were resolved I even had some left over materials I would like your permission on using them in a little add-on to the project, an accessory.
-Permission granted smith, impress me!
-Certainly it won’t take much so please site here until I finish it.
-No, I would like to see you work. Lead the way.
-… Of course follow me.
The main chamber
The smith pointed me to a chair as he was marching towards his desk and tools.
The main chamber felt like a totally different place that the other parts of the forge, for starters the temperature was much higher, the floor was made from black stone, and the ceiling was higher than any other room, plus the huge stream of melting metals they were so hot that no metal would transfer them as all there tunnels were made of stone, still they were expertly crafted and filled with inscriptions.
BAM!
A sound of a hammer took me out of my thought as I turned my head I saw the smith Isiratuu knocking on a small object and turning it from side to side so gracefully, this man knows what he’s doing.
That realization made me even more excited for the accessory I was going to receive.
His hands never stopped, switching from hammer to axe to water to the fire and then again for about 15 minutes. I was getting bored before the smith leaped across the room and stud in front of me…
-Lord Nergal, it is ready. But first let me hand out your request first.
This is the sword you requested, Japanese style, handle from the guts of a Soucouyants, blade made from the metal of gods which your grace provided, and the words are hand carved. As your requested it had properties to do with blood, as of now it poisons the blood of any creature that it cuts.
-Excellent! You have outdone yourself Grand smith.
-Thank you lord Nergal.
‘Let their blood be your strength’ was written on the blade it was shining with a bright red flash, a true work of art.
Holding the sword I felt I slight presence …
A spear flew right at me.
With a single swipe of my newly acquired weapon the metal spear was two halves.
-You got yourself a shiny new toy, Nergal.
-Yes quite something isn’t it? Sorry I brock yours though, Hadad.
-huh.
-Your servant told me you left?
-I was going to, yet I decided to take a stroll around the city before that. Then I sensed that you have finally decided to come, I must say that you being late isn’t a thing I am used to.
-Indeed my friend, yet this place changed a lot in the past centuries my curiosity over whelmed me ha-ha.
-indeed, humans never stop.
.
.
.
-I am sorry friend but I must go now, I know I was late but I can’t stay here any longer I have a quest at home.
-Well, that is quite underwhelming. Unless…
-you are correct.
-ha-ha. Excellent, I didn't think this years competition could be any more thrilling. Then you can expect a visit from me and my guy soon…
Isiratuu did give the box to you, didn’t he?
-Yes, yes he did. Now I must go.
-Lord Nergal.
I turned to see that the smith was standing right in front of me and holding a small Metal box.
-This is the item I just made I wish your grace likes it.
-I took the box and put it in my pocket next to the other box from Hadad.
-Alright then time to go, I will be waiting for your visit smith god.
-It's a date then, Death god.
-ha-ha.
With a single wave of my hands, the shadows wrapped around me and in seconds... i was home.
.
.
.
-Welcome back Father, just like you requested I throw the human in the red lake. although he has not awaken yet!
-Well, let's wake him up shall we!?
