A day has passed

Rodan and Shade are preparing everything they need for the mission

“Are you guys going already?” Arunna asked

“Yes, We want to rescue your father as soon as possible.” Rodan replied

“Will you take us with you? I’m a skilled swordsman and my sister is a skilled magician.”

“I think it is too dangerous for you ladies to come with us, also we don’t know who we are fighting here.” Shade responded

Old man Ed walks up to the group

“You ladies should just stay here and let the professionals do their work.” Ed stated

“You know that you will just hold them back, in your state you will just hinder them from doing their job.”

Arunna looked down, she knows that she can’t do anything to save her father, Kaleena went up to her

“It’s okay sister, let’s just trust Rodan and Shade on this. We already saw how strong they are, I’m sure they will be able to save our father.” Kaleena said while comforting her sister

Ed smiled at the two ladies

“I’m saying you two will not go because you will be staying here to begin your training”

Arunna and Kaleena were surprised at what Ed said; the old man himself will train them. They lift their head, they are looking more motivated now. The disappointment in their faces a while ago suddenly banished and replaced by excitement.

“Is it true?! You will train us?” Arunna excitedly said

“Yes, now go outside and wait for me, I need to talk to Rodan and Shade.” Ed replied

Arunna and Kaleena went outside and Rodan, Shade, and Ed are left in the room

“Why did you suddenly decide that you will train them?”

“I mean it’s been a long time since you’ve been like this.” Shade said

“Did you see something special in them?” Rodan asked

Old man Ed smiled at the two

“Yes, the same thing that I saw in you two.”

Rodan and Shade are surprised at what Ed said but they didn’t reply back and just go with a smile. They said their goodbyes to Old man Ed and the two ladies they are off on another journey.

“How long do you think it will take before they save our father?” Kaleena asked Arunna

“I don’t know but there is one thing I’m sure, they will definitely save him.”

After some time Ed steps out of the room to meet the two ladies outside.

“Now shall we begin your training?” Ed said with a smile

Rodan and Shade headed out of the city to track down the person who holds Lord Ulric captive. They decided to go to the place where the Midnight was killed. They want to assure that the old man didn’t miss a thing.

Rodan and Shade went inside the cave; they saw a lot of different faces hanging on the wall.

“This dude has some crazy hobby.” Shade disgustingly said

“Just do your thing Shade, I don’t want to stay here for a long time.”

Shade smiled

“Fine…. Fine…. Can you step outside for a bit? I can’t concentrate while you are here.” Shade said to Rodan

Rodan went outside, Shade was left alone inside the cave it is so dark and he can’t see anything. He stands still in the middle of the cave and closed his eyes.

“Time Warp”

Shade suddenly vanished into the darkness, he is in a constant series of happenings in the cave he is going back into time. Finally, he saw Lord Ulric inside the cave wounded in the belly, he saw Midnight talking to someone, and it is also wearing a cloak. He can’t really see the face of the person Midnight is talking to.

“My time limit is 5 minutes before I come back into real-time. I need to gather as much information I can.”

The man Midnight is talking to suddenly remove its cloak; it is a middle-aged man who has a big circular body with light brown skin, hazel eyes with horizontal pupils, has no hair.

He is of average height and he dresses quite fashionably.

“This guy looks familiar; I think I saw him before.”

The time warp is done; Shade was thrown back to the real-time. He is sweating a lot; he is on his knees heavily breathing. He called Rodan. Rodan went inside the cave to check on Shade.

“I think I know who has Lord Ulric.” Shade said

Rodan immediately gave water for Shade to drink. He is still breathing heavily, using time warp caused so much stress in his body and his mind.

“Who has Lord Ulric?” Rodan asked

Shade stared at Rodan for a minute, Rodan know something is up

“I still can’t believe it, a bandit working for a merchant?” Rodan said confusedly

“Me either, that is the first time I saw a bandit talking to merchant casually.”

“One more thing that is bothering me, the man that I saw is Lord Ulric’s best friend, Prab Sunfire

“Lord Prab Sunfire? The father of the Merc you defeated yesterday? He is a co-founder of Sun Swords Guild.” Shade said

Rodan and Shade are left speechless. They are currently sitting inside the cave Rodan is waiting for Shade to get his strength back.

After some time they heard noises outside the cave.

“Stay here Shade, I will go out and check it.”

Rodan stands up and went out of the cave, to his surprise he saw 20 Mercs outside all wearing the same armor and weapon, a yellow armor with swords that have sun crest in it.

“What is the meaning of this?” Rodan announced

A man who is as tall as Rodan walked in the middle of the Mercs he is wearing a blazing red armor, with phoenix wings on both sides. It is Hab Sunfire the commander of Sun Swords Guild and the older brother of Rab Sunfire.

“Where is your partner? I heard he gave my little brother a good beating the other day. I just want to repay.” Hab said

“I’m sorry, but my partner is currently busy right now resting. If you want I’ll just tell him that you came by.”

“So you are trying to be funny huh?”

“Bring him out now False Knight or I will also kill you right here, right now.” Hab replied

Rodan smiled at the Mercs

“Please do try, I insist.” Rodan replied

Hab commanded 5 of his Mercs to kill Rodan, these 5 people used the same technique Rab used

“Heat Step”

All of the Mercs charges in with great movement speed. Rodan stood still and waited for them to come when the 5 Mercs are close enough. Rodan threw a punch in front of him hitting the wind suddenly a heavy wind came with it the 5 Mercs lost their footing and stumbled, they all fell to the ground.

Rodan is walking slowly towards Hab with his head lowered down; he whispered something that nobody on the Mercs heard.

“Downward Force”

An immense force pulls the Mercs to the ground as Rodan walks past them, the closest he is to the Mercs the more it gets heavier. The 5 Mercs who charged in first a being crushed to the ground, The other Mercs are seeing a crack on the Ground. They are feeling the force is getting closer to them, they are panicking they saw the huge difference of power.

Hab is the only one not affected by Rodan’s aura

Rodan is getting closer to Hab his Mercs of Sun Swords Guild are being pulled to the ground by an immense Force.

“I will repeat.” Rodan said

Rodan then stands in front of Hab, they are facing each other, the aura is so intense that the other Mercs has passed out.

“I insist, Please do try to kill me.” Rodan asked

Rodan and Hab are having a face-off, Hab has a huge smile on his face.
