HE/HEROINE AND MY VILLAINESS
(Seize the time you have and treasure it with all your life)
“Is that so? But I can't recall anything right now, and because of that, I might change. Do you mind if I say thank you to you all the time from now on? If you don't like it, I could just... no, I'll only feel bad if I don't thank you for taking care of me, so you'll have to put up with it instead, okay?" Yerre said.
"No, that's not what I'm saying; I'm just not used to it," Mary says,
“But I like it. You can say thank you to me all the time. I like it." Mary added.
"Oh, don't worry, you'll get used to it in no time. Okay? " Yerre said as she smiled at her, and Mary returned her smile, sighing in relief.
"Do you want to join me? Come on. I can't finish this at all. It's too many," Yerre invited her, but Mary hesitated and gave her an uneasy look.
"Uh, no, it's fine; you eat it all and get better soon, Miss, here," Mary replied, spooning the food into her mouth. Yerre smiled at her and simply nodded, not wanting to make her feel even more uncomfortable in her presence.
"Em... so delicious," she admits, happy and relaxed as a result of the food in front of her.
"Yes, that is your favorite; Chef Andria prepared it for you," Mary replied, perplexing Yerre.
'Andria? Why did her name sound familiar? ' Yerre reflected, going over her memories.
Oh right, the chef who treats Vendia like her own little sister, but Vendia doesn't appreciate it and ignores her kindness. Chef Andria, on the other hand, continues to treat her as her little sister and ignores Vendia's cold treatment of her.
"Really?" Yerre exclaims, pretending to be surprised.
"Yes," Mary said, not sensing her fake expression.
'So this is Vendia's favorite food, ha? It was not stated in the book that Vendia has a favorite. Strange, hum food,' she thinks as her eyes light up again from the food, and she continues to eat with Mary's assistance.
"How long have I been sleeping?" she wondered, munching on her food with intention to figure out things through Mary's help.
"You've been sleeping for three weeks, Miss.” Mary answers, giving a real shock to Yerre.
“THREE WEEKS?” Yerre high note reply.
“Yes, the Madam and Lord Marthen became aggressive towards us and couldn't sleep well because they were worried and concerned about you. The madam even get sick because…" Mary admitted. Her face showed both sadness and disappointment, making Yerre feel uncomfortable.
'Erm, Vendia does cause quite a commotion, ha. But...' Yerre reflected, feeling pressured and perplexed by her current situation.
"Don't worry, I'm awake now, and I'll be fine soon, okay?" she says with a smile, prompting Mary to nod.
'However, nothing is certain. What could have happened to the real Vendia to cause her to sleep for so long? I can't get through to see what happened because her memories are foggy. Aish! It's not a big deal. As long as Mary is present, I don't mind. I'm going to be fine. Everything is going to be fine,' Yerre reasoned.
"Here, Miss the last spoon," Mary said as she served the last bite of food to Yerre.
"O-oh, okay, all right," Yerre said as she awoke from her trance and smiled at Mary.
'Let's not be worried. 'I can just refer to the book for everything then,' Yerre concluded, feeling less stressed about her situation.
Vendia is precious to all of them, and despite the fact that she is a villain in the story, she never mistreated her parents or servant, which made me angry at the author.
'If you want a villain, make one who has no reason to be a villain. Don't make your readers feel bad for blaming the villain in the end, jeez! Vendia, for example, is not meant to be labeled as a villain.’ Yerre thought, frustrated.
"If you need anything else, young Miss, just ring the bell beside your bed. I'll be going now to help the others clean," Mary says as she smiles at her.
"No, I don't need anything right now. I'm fine. You can go ahead now. Thank you for bringing me food again," Yerre responded.
Mary nodded and bowed to her, then exited the room, closing the door behind her, leaving Yerre alone inside the large and well-designed room.
Yerre noticed that the heaviness in her body had dissipated after eating, and that her body's strength was gradually regaining control. She was now feeling better on the inside and out.
She leaned quietly on Vendia's bed and wandered her gaze throughout the extra-large size of the room, feeling strange and amazed at how well-designed the interior as well as the furniture were.
"So this is how it looks on the inside; it's amazing and well designed," she smiled.
'Oh, my eyes are getting tired yet again. It's fine, I'll take a nap for a while,' she reasoned, and in an instant, the darkness enveloped her entire vision.
