~Chapter 2 Blaze’s POV~

I looked closer at the person and realized it was a male college student. His clothes were torn and covered in dirt and sweat. He had bruises on his face and arms, he also had scars on his arms. I shifted back into my human form. I searched his pockets for an ID. In his right back pocket I pulled out his wallet and read his student ID. It said Dustin Lida, 23 y.o. part of The Midnight Pack.

The town where The Midnight Pack lived was around ten miles away from where we were right now. The poor kid must have been scared out of his mind to run that far. With his figure it made it even harder to believe he ran that far he was skinny and beaten up how he managed to make it even five miles was beyond me. I tapped his shoulder to wake him up to see if he was alright. His eyelids flashed open as he quickly backed up into the thorn wall.

He didn't even flinch when the thorns pierced his skin. Then he started crying and screaming “Please don’t hurt me please!” I tried to say calmly “Don’t cry I won’t hurt you I just want to help.” “Do you want me to call your pack or do you want me to treat your wounds.” “W-who are you?” he asked as he sniffled. I replied “I am Blaze the Alpha of The Moonstone Pack and who are you?” Dustin and could you treat my wounds please he said, quietly looking at the ground.

“Sure” I smiled, I asked him if he could stand and he shook his head in response. “Okay so you crawl out after me and I’ll carry you the way to my house,” Dustin nodded. I crawled out through the tiny space I got some of my clothes snagged on some thorns. I stood up and brushed my pants off. Then when I was just about to have Dustin come out I saw two pairs of gleaming eyes and heard growls. Wow and I thought the day I got stuck in a hunters trap was bad.
