It was dusk, and the sunset had just fallen down. We were all sleeping in the comfortable beds the palace servants made for us. At a moment, I went to my room’s balcony to enjoy the view. I hadn't felt so peaceful in a long time.

- AAAAAAAAAAAAH! A lady screamed of horror.

Right when I heard this scream, I leaned myself forward so I could see clearly what was going on.

What I saw was not the usual. It was terrifying. Like a horror movie. People running away from the flames. People stuck in the flames. Women and their children screaming for help. Babies crying, horrified by the terror. Guards trying to do the best they can to help their citizens

In one word: it was horrible.

To help, I then ran towards my door, got outside my room, came running through the hall, with one guard asking me where I was going.

I then finally arrived at the main doors of the palace, opened them, and ran towards the direction of the flames.

I wanted to do something about it but couldn't. I was only capable of making flames, not separating or vanishing flames. And then, that’s when I remembered a thing my mother told me:

- Oh Fierin, my dear. Don’t give up now. If you think you can’t do something that seems impossible, visualize it!

I then closed my eyes, and “visualized” what action I wanted to do.

- Wooooosh! Went the fire.

I did it! I stopped the fire. Some guards took it over from here, by rescuing the prisoners of the firing flames.

But that was only one part of the puzzle.

Then they barged in. The ones who never mind their own business. You know what I’m talking about, right? The ones who had their top student to be the Empress and to guide them... You know… The Falcon Elites.

Little bonus

Hi guys! Today, I’ll introduce you to the system of which makes, The dragon’s whisper I.

So here, people are automatically born with some kind of superpower … most specifically: an elemental power. These powers are classed as:

Fire

Water

Earth

Lightning/Thunder

Magic (Light)

These are for the main, « safe », categories. We’ll call this list: MAIN 1

Then there’s this OTHER list/category, which is more classified as dangerous, unknown, undiscovered, unusual.

Wind

Metal

Singing*. (There is only ONE person in the whole entire dragon’s whisper world that has the power of singing/music. TO BE CONTINUED…)

Magic (Dark )

Oh! And also, we class these specific powers, (Magic-light and magic-dark), in a different category because they are more powerful than any other powers I just listed. The category we placed them in, is called, « god-like », because the people who often find themselves lucky to be in this position, are mostly, UNBEATABLE… they're like gods! They can have any sort of power and they can sense stuff others don’t too. :

Magic (Dark)

You can think of it as yin and yen. Both of them use the same magic, except, it now comes to their mental status, so that we can differentiate them.

OF COURSE! There is a level of how strong you are in this world. The system they use is called, the Gradient:

Outstanding (secret level)

Extravagant

- o -

Average

- o -

Weak

They are weak, average, extravagant, and outstanding.

Weak means you either don’t have an element power or you’re just weak at your skill…- _ -

Average means you’re good and you’re pretty average in your skill. You’re considered as powerful, compared to weaks.

Extravagant means you’re super strong and OUTSTANDS, what we’re expecting from you.

People in this category tend to be underestimated because we confuse them a lot with the “Average” group. They seem nothing special at first but you’ll see it's the contrary.

And outstanding… um…well…nobody can get to that level, unless you’re in the GOD-LIKE category.
