The room was dimly lit. There was a candle in the centre of the table which illuminated his facial features as he looked through the menu. His hair was style back and it had this wet look to it which made him impossibly handsome. He licked his lips and bit his lower one. His eyes scanned through the various options. His white shirt had three buttons from the top undone exposing the valley of his  toned pecks covered in tattoos that disappeared in his clothes.

There was soft music playing in the background. An assortment of various jazz and slow jams filled the air accompanied by low murmurs and the collision of cutlery. The table was covered in a dark maroon and white cloth. There was a vase with a single rose right next to the short candle. I shifted nervously while I secretly watched him pretending to look through the menu. A smirk grew on his face and he looked at me through his lashes.

"See something you like?" I knew Luke wasn't refering to the food. I nearly choked on the water I was drinking. I tried to act composed to little success.

"Yeah, the pasta looks great." I replied looking down at my menu hiding the redness of my cheeks. He simply chuckled and called over the weighter. We placed our order then our table got silent. I could feel his gaze on me. I simply pretended to be busy adjusting my the position of my water glass and napkin.

"So tell me about yourself Black, what you don't like and most importantly what you like,"his deep voice made me stiffen at his words and how my last name rolled off his tongue. This was our first date after meeting two weeks ago and casual texting. I took a deep breath and thought for a minute.

"Am an open book really, the biggest thing I've ever been interested in is interior design, I ventured into writing but got bored, I love chocolate chip ice cream, I can drown in that shit, I hate when people wear socks and slides when it's raining, I don't like fish and my guilty pleasure is listening to Zayn Malik," I shrugged.

"You listen to Zayn? Wow." He raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"I like what I like baby," I took a sip of the red wine that had just gotten placed on our table.

"Oh? Baby, I could get used to that," he smirked.

"Don't get a head of yourself love, those privileges aren't unlocked yet," I was starting to get comfortable around him at this point.

"What do I have to do to unlock them?" He rested his elbows on the table leaning in. I did the same as we looked eyes.

"I like your tattoos." I brushed my fingers on his knuckles tracing his ink up his sleeve and stopped on the strap of his gold watch. I smirked while lifting a brow. He chuckled at my clear a voidance of the question.

"Not so shy now are we?" He put his hand over mine and tilted his head.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I pulled my hands way from his and sipped my wine looking at another table and looked at him from the corner of my eye. He adjusted his watch and put his hands on his lap as the food was presented to us. The young lady was clearly eyeing Luke as she smiled at him completely ignoring my presence. She continued to stand there and gawk at him while he took a bite of his food. I rolled my eyes at her.

"You have something on the side of your lip." I stretch my arm and wiped the imaginary food from his lower lip with my thumb and sucked it. The woman looked back and forth at us putting two and two together and smiled awkwardly before leaving.

"Someone's possessive." He said with a cocky grin on his face.

"I don't like to share."

I looked down at my food and started to eat. We talked about trivial things until we unconsciously finished a whole bottle of wine.

We exited the restaurant and he held the door open for me. We walked to his car and settled inside.

"Night cap?" He asked.

"I could use a cup of tea,"

He nodded and we drove off to a small café for our drinks. We preferred to sit in the car. It was a bit warmer than the café.

"Dinner was delicious, except the horny waitress." I said while rolling my eyes.

"I agree, I had a good time." He was silent for a bit. "So how are we going to do this? Want to go fast or slow?" He sipped his coffee while looking at me.

"Either way is fine, we have a long journey ahead of us."

"Good cause ever since I met you I've been dying to kiss you, can I?" He stroked my cheek with his thumb. My heart raced unable to utter anything I just nodded. He leaned in cupping my face. His lips brushed mine. Then he place a soft kiss on my lips then pulled away a bit. I put my hands on the back of his neck and pulled him in for another one. This time the kiss was deeper. I opened my mouth slightly allowing his tongue in my mouth. He taste like the bitter coffee he was drinking. I moaned as our mouths moved in synchronisity. He pulled away from me and smiled licking his lips.

"We should do that again." He said in a low voice. I simply chuckled.

After a while of talking he took me home and gave me a peck on the lips then got back in his car and left.
