I wasn't really excited about this idea but I said nothing about it. We stood out side the movie theatre and waited for him, so I've heard. I looked at Harry who was looking kind of nervous. He kept looking at his watch untill a black range pulled up and some guy with tattoos got out. After talking to someone else in the car he called over Harry. I was taken aback when he kissed him openly. I felt my chest tighten. I looked down on Aubrey who was clearly enjoying herself. This was her doing.

So that's him.

They walked over to us after the car drove away. He introduced his self as Luke, I think. I really wasn't listening. I was too busy looking at Harry act all shy and being all red. Why was he never like that around me?

We got to the movie after buying snacks I sat in the middle of Harry and Aubrey. I was intentionally brushing my hand over Harry's. I mean some part of me was upset that he was ignoring me. Like even tight now he won't look at me. I mean I did nothing wrong. Did I? I tried focusing on the movie then realized we had watched it not too long ago. Then I got an idea. I am going to make it impossible for him to ignore me. I smirked every time I felt him looking at me. 

"Remember when we watched this then got rained on," .  I leaned over whispered to him making sure I didn't attract any attention. I chuckled as I saw him look around and visibly tense up, shifting uncomfortably.

As the movie went on I was still up set. He kept ignoring me now and was talking to that guy again. They kept laughing and I got petty to say the least. 

"Hey keep it down you're being too loud." I whispered shouted. Aubrey looked at me a bit puzzled. I shrugged it off.

Eventually the movie ended and I got the chance to be alone with him. Aubrey and the guy went off to the bathroom. I can tell Aubrey too a liking to him. I sat down and Harry sat next to me with his back turned to me. He wasn't even hiding it at this point.

"What the fuck is up with you today?" He asked neither of us bother to look at each other. 

He noticed.

"Nothing, and why do you keep ignoring my texts, you can't even look at me,it's like your avoiding me, like right now you have your back turned." I told him seemingly starting to get annoyed.

"I've been busy." He said flatly. As if it wasn't a lie.

"With your boyfriend " I said the world boyfriend mockingly just to get to him.

"What the fuck dude, you haven't even talked to him. And I haven't missed the way you kept glaring at us." He had a point but that wouldn't stop me

"I just don't like him, he's a douche." I said bluntly. It wasn't a lie that's what I thought.

"You're friends are douches"

"And so is he," I stated.

"Are you jealous?" I scoffed. 

"Why would I be?" Of course I'm not.

"Cause you're acting like an ass."

"I'm not, just saying what I think." 

Our conversation was cut short when Aubrey and Luke, is it, came back.

"And anyway why would I be jealous? I had your heart way before you knew he exited." I said before they got within ear shot. I was feeling smug when he looked dumbfounded. He just stood there looking at me as I made my way to Aubrey. This was too fucking good. I winked at him then I left with my arm around her.

We got into Harry's car and went to the dinner. Everyone was insisting on eating junk food I didn't mind but I only chimed in to get under Harry's skin. We went to the dinner we did that hot summer day. I made sure to sit right in front of him. Aubrey dragged Luke to go get our food something about interrogating him. They left us alone. Again. Great now I could just annoy him a bit. His reactions were priceless.

"Why are you so uneasy? Was it something I said?" I teased him. He rolled his eyes and looked at me dead in the eyes but turned away immediately. He was always like that. He never could keep eye contact with me. It was adorable. I know I shouldn't be thinking this way but can help it.

"I have no recollection of anything you say really." I chuckled. He really was going to keep this up.

Luke and Aubrey came back with trays of food laughing at god knows what. She sat next to me all excited. 

"Harry did you know Luke is Tyler's brother?" Aubrey asked.

"Like Tyler my classmate?" Harry piped up.

"Yeah, he's my kid brother."Luke answered.

I tuned them out after that. I wasn't really interested in their conversation.We ate a bit and realized these guys didn't get drinks. Harry offered to go get some.

"So what do you guys want?"

"A strawberry shake for me." Aubrey said busy eating.

"Same here." Luke said.

"Let me guess the basic bitch wants vanilla." I smirked at his comment.

He still remembers huh.

"You know it." I said.

"Wait how did you know..." Aubrey frowned in confusion. I looked at him waiting for him to answer.

"Aah.... that's what he always get when we go here so I just assumed. Well I'll be back shortly." He said and left immediately. That was smooth. I shook my head. Aubrey turned to me with a questioning look.

"It's true babe." I told her. She shrugged and went on to talk to Luke.

He got back and they started talking again. He was ignoring me again. He was looking at something on Luke's phone. I lifted my leg and touched Harry's calf. Before he could look at at me I got busy kissing Aubrey on the cheek, she loved that kind of staff. She was giggling. He ignored me and I did it again. This time I made sure he knew it was intentional. He looked at me, I was trying so hard to contain me laughter cause he was making a funny expression.

The rest of the night was me bothering him and acting oblivious. It started getting late and we decided to go home. Luke was picked up buy someone. We got in Harry's car and he drove us home. Aubrey fell asleep on my shoulder. I just sat there and looked at him through the riverview. He was so focused on driving obviously ignoring me again. I didn't like it. I smirked at him when he looked at me. He instantly turned his gaze back on the road. He pulled over next to our building.

I woke Aubrey up and we went home. I took a shower then Aubrey followed after. I wasn't feeling really tired but she decided to go to bed without me. I kissed her good night and went to the balcony to smoke. I didn't usually do it but it was a once in awhile kind of thing. I felt like I need it. I unlocked my phone then replied to a few text. Looked at social media but nothing interesting came up. I went to text Harry but I looked at all the unanswered texts. I don't know why but I called him. 

"You're still awake?" I asked sitting on a chair leaning back on it. Getting comfortable.

"What do you want E?" I smiled. He was sounding annoyed but am glad he picked up.

"Nothing just checking in." I said.

"You literally saw me less than two hours ago."

"I know." I said in a whisper. 

And it got quiet. It's not that I didn't have anything to say but sometimes we got like that. It wasn't weird we were just comfortable knowing the other was there.

"You know that's bad for you." He said in a soft low tone. 

"Sometimes it's the things that aren't good for you that we tend to drift towards." I matched his tone. I wasn't just talking about smoking though. Not sure he got that. 

We got silent again. It was longer than the first time.

"Good night Harry." I said satisfied with the conversation.

"Night E." He said then hung up.

I sat there a while just thinking. I didn't like how he was ignoring me. I just wanted to know why.
