P O V - Avery
Why can't I shake off this feeling? I feel so scattered and anxious, yet I don't know why.
I've checked everything already, and I know I hadn't made any mistakes, yet I still feel so shaky.
I thought going inside and having a little water would help, but... it didn't. So here I am, back in the garage.
My work was splayed out on the counter in front of me. The monitors still resuming their task of slowly going through a slideshow of blueprints and models.
Everything was fine... right?
I decided to stop for the day. It was still early, but I couldn't handle it and all of my senses were going haywire. I gathered the blueprints and models that were on the table and stored it in my storage case. I placed some extra blueprints and circuitry in there. Better safe than sorry.
I brought them inside and placed them away in a closet. I'm sure if someone could find it easily, but I just need to have it protected. Besides, I'm not the type of person to have something extremely locked up.
I went back into the garage. The monitors and pcs were still on and I had to turn them off. I started to walk closer to them... there's that feeling again, but why?
It's only me.
I closed the tabs and windows after saving my work. I felt better.
'Click-beep'
What was that noise? That's new... is there something wrong with the computers?
I bent down lower and checked the sides. There couldn't possibly be anything wro-

A fierce soundwave shook through the area. Her house was up in flames. Every person on the road who was nearby or saw what happened stopped their driving to see what just happened. Some swerved if they were just a little too close to the explosion. There were only about 6-8 cars altogether, and people were already recording and dialing the police.
The blast took out the garage door. Sparks were flying everywhere due to the machinery. Chemicals were spilling and causing more to light on fire.
Avery lied on her driveway. Her left arm had extremely severe burns. The side of her left face and skull had a gouging hole in it. Her brain and pieces of her skull were visible. The heat made some of the edges of the bloody wound coagulate and harden. Blood spilled from the center, like a half-bitten gusher.
Multiple sirens were heard. The loud 'flapping' of the firefighter choppers were heard as well. Some of the strangers who were there were in shock. Some started to cry in sympathy for Avery's family, even though they didn't know who they were. They were soon told to leave the area after their contacts were gathered for later interviews.
Sooner or later, news reporters were coming as well, ready to set up cameras and share the story.
Avery's phone rested in an untouched place in her house. It was lighting up and buzzing wildly from her friends and family... it stopped very soon as doctors announced Avery to be dead.
Unanswered messages remained, later to be forgotten and destroyed.
Date of death: May 4, 2044 - Age 20
