Alistor and the Rose Warrior jumped in to slash the beast with great force. Rose warrior plunged its blade into the beast, but it wouldn't work as it quickly broke free of Tannen's bind.

 “What are you doing? Stop messing around and finish them.” Shouted the King in a rather impatient manner.

     The monster went berserk and blasted out more flames from its mouth.  

“The next plan!” Announced Tannen.

     The four of them got into position as Tannen stood right in the crossfire of the flame attack. With the darkness, Tannen summons out pillars of water to defend the team. The flames impact the gush of water, causing a massive fog of smoke to surround the battlefield.

"Argh! I can't get a good view!" Complained the King.

     The King was unhappy with what he saw as he complained about the fog to his pawns. Mecha Tiger's flames were extinguished as it shivered in fear soaking wet.

“Now’s our chance!” Shouted Alistor.

     Rose fighter surprised the beast with a heavy punch as it still felt unaffected but barely flinched. The monster jumped out of the way but fell straight into the ground, significantly lagging since its body got soaked. Alistor and Rose Warrior didn't give it a chance to gain its ground as they began firing energy attacks.

"We have you trapped!" Snapped Tannen.

     Rose Warrior joined in as it fired multiple rounds of energy at it. The beast's armor begins to crack up as Tannen leaps to cut through the Tiger with his scythe. He cuts through the beast with a heavy impact.

"Katty….please stay with us," Sairori said.  

      The fog cleared away as everyone witnessed Mecha Tiger's armor shattering to the floor.

“It’s still standing?” Questioned Alistor.

"It seems so." Muttered Tannen in annoyed disbelief.

     The monster came to its senses as it was now lighter and able to move around due to losing its first layer of armor.

"It seems it can move around more quickly, but now he's completely vulnerable." Alistor pointed.

     Tannen had his scythe ready to charge in with. The monster tried swinging its claws around, but that didn't stop him from landing a direct hit. The beast then attempted to open its mouth again for its flame, but the Rose Fighter grabbed its snout, shutting it as it burned its mouth.

“Pathetic!” Shouted the King.

     Mecha Tiger tried swinging its claws but was bound again by Tannen summoning his binding earth. Alistor went in with his Star Breaker focusing his energy as both spirits were commanded to unleash their finishing attacks.

“Star Breaker!”

      Mecha Tiger writhed in pain as it shattered to pieces. A double explosion came out of the beast.

“Humph….” Nodded the King.

     The Baronia King no longer cared about his monster's defeat. He began to turn away just as Alistor and the others approached the King from behind. Alistor was fueled with rage as the King stared blankly back with no emotion.

"Hey, wait……"

    Auroa and Maigashi suddenly came back to the village only to witness the tragedy that was bestowed. Katty was in the last minute of his dying breath as Sairori couldn't do much more.

 "You monster! Somehow I will defeat you, I promise. When I do, I'll make sure to tear you apart." Alistor pointed.

      He badly wanted to rush at the enemy. Still, the Baronia King just laughed back evilly at him in amusement.

"Small words, but you are in no position of power to fight me? Your threats mean nothing. You see, this is just the beginning of your very end."

     Alistor blindly charges at the King but gets smacked out of the way flying in midair. Maigashi and Auroa go to help him back up. The King turned his back away, but not before leaving with some parting words.

“Take this causality as a lesson for today.”

     The Baronia King wiped his hand with his cape and teleported away with the remaining Baronia pawns.

“Katty!”

     Alistor rushed to Katty’s side.

“Why? Why didn’t you just stay back?” He asked.

     Blood rushed from his mouth as he struggled to fight on.

“I….just wanted to maintain my code of honor. Sorry….Looks like you’ll just have to do this without me…..”

     There was nothing they could have done as they mourned for him.

“No! You can’t go! Please! Please stay with us.”

“Don’t ever forget about me. I’ll always be in your team’s heart.”

    His eyes closed as Alistor mourned for him. Hours passed as Katty was soon buried. Alistor couldn't believe his close friend was gone as he tried to overcome grief. The sun starts to set.

“Come on…Let’s go home.” Sairori said.

     It was a silent moment for the team back home at the table. Alistor and the party had a quiet moment to honor their fallen friend.   Alistor was lying in bed as he couldn't stop thinking about what had happened today. He gets up from his bed and opens his window for fresh air as he gazes upon the moonlight. Memories of Katty flashed back to him.

“I’ll never forget the time we had together.”

     A flashback takes him to the moment the two trained at the beach while Axe Winston is seen watching them. The scene suddenly shifts to the day the Labyrinth appeared over their school with Grass Horns chasing both of them.

"Our time at the arcade as well…."

    The scene shows Katty playing games with him in the arcade. Then it shifts to when he clashes with Barrel Man on top of a high building.

"I promise you, Katty…. I'll train hard and get stronger. When I do, I'll give everything I got to take him down. I won't let anything stop me."  

A shooting star is seen at the end.
