I haven’t seen Terry since we got back. No one has, actually. He went into his tent with his bag of mushy leeches and hasn’t come out since. Actually, I don’t think I’ve seen Cherry or Narry either. Cherry’s not unusual, since they’re a mannequin and all, but I can usually hear Narry snuffling around my tent flap at least once or twice a day. I still don’t trust that armed, but at least I knew where it was and what it was doing when it was wandering around the camp regularly. But now? Now I’m a bit concerned.
And Bailey is still being a jerk and keeping my laser pointer. He gave me a pack of cards to replace them, but they’re not nearly as fun. Jane doesn’t even care about cards. She just squawks at me and then goes back to preening herself. She’s gotten a lot more flexible since rediscovering herself as a narwhal goose. It’s pretty impressive, actually.
