A knock

Who might that be at this time? I wondered as I was on my way to my room. The butler went to open the door. My friend Aj stood there with flowers on him. I wondered because I haven't seen him for some time.

As I was about to go towards him, mother was walking down the stairs happily.

" Wow, those flowers are beautiful"

"Just like you, they are for you", Aj said as he was handing the flowers to her and that was followed by a kiss.

I find myself next to them in shock. I pulled An to my father's study to ask about this. I get the flowers but a kiss.

"Aj, why did you kiss her"

" she is married and old enough to be your mother, you are my friend "

"Aj, be fast let's go or we will be late," said Sarah

" she is not married anymore and we love each other," said Aj as he was walking out of the study with a silly smile on his face.

I stood there dumbfounded for a while until Henderson came to check on me. He is our butler but a father figure to me.

I haven't seen him for more than a month. He ignored my calls and emails. He was my childhood friend. When my father died, he was the person I needed, the person who will understand me but he was not there, he was gone for some reason. I told myself he was busy because just like me, he is the heir of his father's company.

But when did they start loving each other? How did that happen? I didn't see any signs of it. I need to get more information about this.

It will go good for our families" she went on " eat your food and stop thinking about them, it's like you will follow them around to find this so-called truth or break into Aj house "
