There I was face to face with Aero, my cheeks burned red as he gave a sly smirk and tightened his grip around my waist. "Er thanks." I stuttered trying to move his hands away from my waist, completely failing. I didn't realize how strong he would be.
"Don't I get something in return for catching you?" He asked, leaning in closer. I could feel his hot breath on my ear, making me blush an even deeper shade of red. I placed my hands on his chest and tried to push him away, but he didn't budge. I couldn't help but notice his strong muscular chest, I imagine he works out a lot.
"Uh what do you want?" I asked trying to take the subject away from what he obviously wanted.
But it didn't work. "This." He said in a low sexy tone. Bringing his lips over mine, closing in the gap between us. My hands, still on his warm muscular chest, gripped the cloth of his shirt between my fingers, which seemed to only excite him more. He pulled me closer and slipped his tongue in my mouth.
"Nn!" I gasped, surprised at how much I liked it. No! You can't like this! I desperately thought to myself. He's the enemy! But yet, I couldn't bring myself to make him stop, his lips felt like fireworks as he kissed me hungrily, causing a burning sensation I have never felt before. I wanted him, and I hated how much I did.
He gave a low moan as I wrapped my arms around him, sending shivers down my spine. "Ahh Kerri." He gasped, trailing his kisses from my mouth down my jawline to my neck, his fingertips grazed the bottom of my skirt. I knew what was coming next, yet my mind felt fuzzy and warm with his body so I didn't care, in fact a part of me was kind of hoping for it.
Suddenly the door to the carriage opened, I jumped off of him in a panic. "Your highness we're here."
Aero glared at the knight who opened the carriage door, his eyes were cold. He was obviously upset he got interrupted but I couldn't be happier. What was I thinking? It's like I lost control, I don't know what would have happened if we didn't get interrupted like this. I took the knights hand, who helped me out of the carriage, because you know I'm a frail dainty woman. Stairs! My mortal enemy! However will I use them without a man's help?!
Aero followed behind me, placing a hand on the small of my back. I wanted to smack him away, but in public I had to worry about his image so I just let him. Not going to lie it felt a bit nice.
"Wow!" My face lit up and a smile spread wide as I took in my surroundings. It was so beautiful. There were flowers and lanterns everywhere surrounding the shop stalls and games set up all around. People chatted happily as they bought food, played games, and prayed to statues which I have never seen before. Children ran around and screamed, picking up floors and just all around having a good time. My eyes immediately fluttered around the fabric stalls and the beautiful ornamental jewelry.
Aero immediately took notice of my wandering gaze. "You want one of those cheap pieces of jewelry? You can have anything you want, why go for anything cheap?"
I took his arm and guided him over to the stall. "It's not about how cheap or expensive something is. It can be beautiful either way, but the real value to me is the sentimental value. It's the first time I've left the castle in so long and so beautiful out tonight."
He looked surprised, and maybe even a bit flushed. He looked away from me, I couldn't really tell what he was thinking. "Fine pick out anything you want."
I decided on a beautiful jeweled necklace, though the jewels were fake it was something that would remind me of the festival.
"We can continue looking around later, we're meeting my brother here." What? I don't want to see that bastard or even Gwen who tossed me aside like a dirty used up piece of paper after they got what they wanted out of me.
