Turtle detective is chasing the man with cheap blue suit, running after him in the alley.

No, he can't see their faces. But, he can see the back of man's cheap blue suit as it waves briefly in the air. There's a pause in the movement of cheap blue suit. No, it's not the guy.

Turtle detective closes his eyes and continues running. He walks down the alley, using shadows to mislead his vision. A dumpster moves in the breeze. A rat scurries by. Shadow of the trash dumpster. Footsteps of the turtles.

He reaches a location. The turtle detective opens his eyes.

Nothing around. Just a guy, leaning against a wall, hands in his pockets.

Then, he sees man in cheap blue suit. He should run after it, but the turtle detective notices something else about the man while he chases him down the alley.

Detective Turtle notices the man's eyes.

They're blank. Almost dead. he can see that the man is young, probably still in his twenties.

He notices the man's mouth, too. It's moving, and he can see that the man is speaking. He's just quiet, whispering rather than actually talking.

But, he's not saying anything.

Then, the man smiles, an unnatural grin with half of his face. And, that's when turtle detective notices the man's hand in the shadows. It twitches unnaturally. It's long, at least four or five fingers wide, and spiny, as if covered with hundreds of tiny... spikes. The man holds it in the shadows, as if the glow of the street lights weren't enough to illuminate it.

Maybe the detective just couldn't see it because it was so out of place with the composed and calm man. Maybe it was a trick of the light. Maybe...

Then, one undead spawns to distract Turtle detective while the man runs away. Bastard ran into the darkness, and the detective's vision isn't what it used to be. But, now Turtle detective gotta deal with the undead. Fortunately, one undead only. He tries to hit it with his slingshot, but it’s faster and harder to hit with his current eyes.

Son of a gun! Dang it. He throws his boomerang instead, and hits it in the head. The undead collapses, and Turtle detective proceeds to chase the suspect.

He's still a freaking turtle.

But, half of his task has been completed. He knows he lost him somewhere in the darkness of the endless alleyways of his city.

The chase is made more difficult by the fact that he can barely see in this condition, worse than when he was before when struggling to survive in the dark alleys of the city as homeless hobo.

He can see, but barely. It's getting worse. He needs new glasses soon, if he can just find the time to go investigate a potential case...

He walks back to scene where his sidekick rat is guarding the dead body while waiting for cops to arrive.
