In the storage house:

"You sure you're okay going in there by yourself?" Ratty asks.

"I've been in worse positions," Turtle nods.

"Just don't do anything stupid, alright?"

"Wouldn't be an issue if I could leave like last time, now was it?"

Within a minute, Turtle detective runs out like scaredy-cat. He chickened out. He wants Ratty to go with him.

The storage room is filled with boxes and suitcases. It doesn't appear to be any different from the other rooms in the building.

"So, any ideas what we're searching for?" Ratty asks.

"Well, the owner of this place said someone was stealing meat. Also, Sam mentioned that he saw that blond girl sneaking here. That sounds like fishy enough to me."

"Yikes," Ratty says. "That's not exactly confidence inspiring."

"We don't have much else to go on," Turtle says " You can't be a cop if you don't jump to conclusions."

"Yeah, yeah," Rat grunts.

The two friends start to go through each box and suitcase. Most of the contents are ripped clothes and probably belong to the owner of the place. A few of them are dirty and have stains, probably belonging to the person who lived here before.

In the far corner of Bruno the rat's eyes' visible field where everything becomes vague, he sess a lurking shadow of a figure. It was there for a fraction of moment and disappeared before the reaction time.

He briskly scans the surroundings to verify the whiff of danger. There is no trail of additional individuals in the vicinity. His senses are suddenly heightened. Mind is alert and vigilant. A surge of cold anxiety cascades down the body.

It was probably a concomitant hallucinatory upshot of the ominous dark, eerie environment.

Then, suddenly there's a roar. The two friends froze, and then the ratty makes a little yelp.

Something scary seems to be hiding deep within this big storage room.

"You saw something, didn't you?" Turtle asks, his voice quivering a bit.

"I-I think I did."

"What was it? Tell me!"

"It was a monster!" the rat squeaks.

"A monster?"

"Yeah, there's a monster in this room!" he says.

"Great," Turtle sighs.

"What the heck is that?" Ratty asks, looking at a dark corner.

It appears to be some sort of large, spider-shaped creature. Bigger than a tiger, and as black as the darkest night. Its eyes burn with a red color, and it roars at the two friends.

"A spider-monster," Turtle says.

The spider-monster moves forward, walking on eight hairy legs. It looks about the size of a minivan.

"It's big enough to devour us," Turtle says, backing up.

The monster stops, staring with ferocious look, ready to lunge at them.

"Ready?" Turtle asks.

"Ready!" Ratty replies.

Turtle drops his cigarette and starts rolling it up as best as he can. Ratty does the same.

"You know what to do," Turtle says.

"Of course," the rat replies.

The two detectives give each other a nod, then turn their attention to the creature.

"STATIONARY!" Turtle commands, in an attempt to corner it.

"Wait, what are we doing?" Ratty asks.

"Sting Ray! We need Sting-Stun-Gas! Get it out!"

"But we don't have any Sting-Stun-Gas," Rat points out.

"Then get outta my way, gonna do this myself! Move aside!"

The spider lunges at him and smashes right at Olaf, pushing him like a bulldozer, sending him flying back hammering to the wall and he drops to the floor. It sounded like a drum. Vibration is shaking the eardrum.

A sharp pain shoots throughout the nerves.

The spider charges for another attack. This time probably for a bite.  It's large black body moving forward quickly.

It's coming down like a bull.  While Ratty screams like a little bitch.

"STING! STING!" Turtle commands as he sprays the gas at the creature's feet.

The spider stops, and attempts to shake off the gas, but succeeds in only spreading it all over its body.

The gas causes it to writhe about, and it growls in pain. It begins to hop about, before finally losing control of its body. It starts screaming in pain, a sound that's half groan, half howl. It twists and turns, tearing its own arms off to flicks itself, before finally ending up a heap on the ground, making a "thud".

Turtle and Ratty stare at each other, then at the creature.

"I don't... what just happened?" Ratty asks.

"The gas brought him down."

"How do you know so much about this stuff?"

"I read a lot."

" "When did you find that spray?" Ratty asks.

"Durning our search here before the spidy beast attacked us." Turtle answers.

"Why didn’t you tell me?!" Rat demands an explanation.

"I was about to, but I got distracted by your screaming and crying while pissing your pants off after seeing the monster." Turtle explains.

"I wasn't pissing my pants! You're just an asshole, that's all," Rat says.

"I'm glad you finally realize that," Turtle replies. " And anyway, if I had remembered to tell you, would you have listened?"

"Probably not. You don't listen to things I tell you now?" says Ratty.

"Just forget it," Turtle says. "Another beast could come back anytime. Let's get outta here."

A combination of comedy, occult detective, mystery and Dungeons and Dragons style action packed series.

Turtle detective is not a turtle that wears a hat and uses a magnifying glass to solve crimes, it's a turtle that drinks a lot of alcohol and uses vulgar words in attempt to solve crimes.

Turtle is not a hero. He is not a sidekick or a narrator. He is not even a "work in progress". Turtle is an idiot. His incompetence usually solves the case.

Bizarre tales of the Turtle detective. Crazy surreal comedy.

Story will start to get gradually coherent and plot consistent from the 3rd chapter and onward.

It has mystery, action, ghosts, monsters and many more.
