Neel rubbed his face. He looked tired.

“one wish. A single wish. That’s all you get. Am I clear?”

“really?” sahil blurred out

“NEEL” kaveri protested. “you cannot do that. Are you out of your mind ?” kaveri stormed towards neel, her silky white lehenga trailing behind her. “we are already behind schedule”

Neel ignored her as he look straight into shail's eyes. “what are you willing to do ? to visit your mother”

anything. Sahil wanted to say those words out loud. Instead he asked,

“what do you want in return though?... I don’t thing your offer is coming for free”

“well at least you are not stupid.” Neel nodded in approvement.

“WHAT—DID YOU JUST SA...”

“SAHIL” kaveri yelled. Her black eyes were brimming with tears. “Don’t listen to him sahil. Stop. Do not take whatever he bas to offer… H is.. he is”

“okay that’s enough. You need to leave” neel chipped in. With a flick of his finger a haladie appeared in his left hand. Before anyone could react. He flung the two sided blade knife lright at kaveri, Piercing her heart. Kaveri fell backwards on the ground. Blood oozing down her white lehenga.

“WHAT THE—”

Sahil tried to scramble out from the bed. Or at least he tried too. When he realised he was still stuck to his bed. His hand were free but his legs were still bounded to his bed.

“YOU CRAZY BAST—” sahil stopped midway. If this psyco was crazy enough to stab his friend/ co-worker. Who knew what he would do to him.

Neel paid him no heed. He casually walked up to kaveri. Who layed dead, Her lifeless eyes staring no where. And gently removed the blade from her body. Whistling away as he wiped his blade clean.

Sahil couldn’t even utter a word. He was too scared to say anything. Who knew what this psyco would do to him. What the hell had he gotten himself too. Did he really had to rush down the road ? Why did he had to get hit by the truck. What has he done to himself.

“okay so where were we?” Neel smiled as he pulled a chair toward sahil's bed.

“yeah so. Like I was saying earlier. I will help you grand one wis—”

“NO” sahil blurred out.

“No?” neel smile died then and there. His pretty black eyes turning stone cold.

“what No !? don’t you want to hear what I have to offer ?”

“NO I don’t want to do anything with you” sahil voice had take a solemn tone. His eyes fixed at kaveri's body. The blood had now completely seeped down her dress and into the carpet.

“why did you.. why did you kill her ? she did nothing you. She was harmless” he asked meekly.

A moment of silence followed and then neel burst out in laughter.

“kill her ? harmless” neel kept laughing.

“brat, I take my words back. You ARE stupid and funny too”

“what—” sahil couldn’t comprehend what was so funny about the situation.

“she ain’t dead brat. Didn’t I tell you. We are inside your mind? All I did was threw her out. She will be back any moment”

Oh right. He did say they were in mind. But sahil wasn’t sure whether to believe him or not. He choose not to reply. He was still afraid of neel and they way he flung the blade kaveri. He refused to make an eye contact with him.

Neel groaned. “okay fine. If you don’t believe me. Lets wait till she is back”

A moment or two passed. And then kaveri body suddenly levitated on air. her wounds healing, and blood suddenly disappearing off her clothes and floor. As if time had been rewind. He head snapped back and her eyes lit up.

“NEEL YOU BAST—” before kaveri could finish. Neel flicked his fingers and aimed the double bladed haladie at her heart again. She again fell down on the ground with a thud.

“So did you see it ? I did not kill her. She will be back again” neel smiled innocently.

“Now lets get back to the topic. This will be the last time I will be entertaining your concerns. Chimpanzee. I will only tell you once what I have to offer. It will be up to you whether to take it or not”

“okay. Lets listen what you have to offer” sahil looked right into neel's eyes.
