Chapter 3: Indulge

The man's fangs edged their way to my neck and just before they reached it my hand pushed to the man's neck.

Just as I got a grip the pain fell on me again, though it seemed to less strenuous as before.

I didn’t back down my mental state, I continued to stare at the man in front of me.

My eyes which became somewhat faded by the pain widened and my hand squeezed.

Cracking sounds could be heard and his neck turned to ruble in my hand, though his expression stayed the same, everything around me did.

I got up and took the man's hands off me.

Just as I was about to move forward that damned pain came upon me, I faltered slightly and in my wake, I heard the sounds of stone and cloth hitting the hard floor.

Everyone who was moving stopped and looked at me.

The three men watching the show were somewhat shocked but in a subtle surprised way.

The rocky shards of the man's neck I dropped to the floor, looking at the next vampire coming forward.

Though once again everything stopped, the pain was evident but my anger was getting to me.

Those men had smiles on their faces as they watched, these men keep trying to kill me, my friends were all dead, I’m even dead.

“I’m so tired of this shit..”

I ran at the next person even though his body was frozen.

My fist rammed right through his face, though I continued not even stopping.

I ripped another person's arm off and used it to break him even more.

I kicked another one into the wall, causing large cracks to spread on his body and the wall.

I pushed my arm through his chest to finish the job.

There were a few others, though they were easily disposed of.

This “gift” as they do call it is quite the useful one.

Though as I finished and let my focus stop on the carnage, the pain came once more.

All those men that I killed fell to the floor.

The men standing up watching me didn’t even see any of my movements, they turned from the position they were frozen in and they saw the same carnage I saw.

I was looking at them and the leader spoke.

His smile was all but diminished. He spoke in a weird tone.

“Ha, haha, you’re surprising me even more, you’ve proven yourself quite well. What is your name newborn..? I think you’ll make an interesting addition to our coven.”

I clenched my fist and spoke.

“You never cared to ask when I was human, though now that I’m a threat, you're trying to cozy up to me.”

I stepped my way to him, slowly, and spoke as I did.

“But just to indulge you a little, I’ll tell you, might as well, it’s not like you’ll need to know it for much longer..”

The younger looking one spoke.

“Newborn, You’re getting quite cocky now that you defeated a few men. So maybe show some respect, saying yes to our proposal would be the best decision you can make.”
