Chapter 4: Time

I’m so tired of these people, I’m just letting go of all my restraint.

“Haha, you don’t know what situation you're in do you..”

The older gentlemen told quite plainly to the others.

“He’s planning to kill us brothers.”

The younger one stormed at me before I could even step foot on the stairs to the high place they were standing.

I stared at him and he froze, just him.

The head vampire spoke to him.

“Brother, are you...”

He touched his hands and stared off into thought.

The older man went to grasp the head vampire when he almost fell over from whatever he saw.

I just watched them and the leader looked at me as if staring at pure death and then turned his head.

My hand went to the head of the frozen one and I threw him to the floor, I heard a breaking sound though I didn’t care to check.

He almost sounded like a piece of brick hitting the ground.

I continued to slowly walk and looked at the man almost on the ground.

I was intrigued now at the sight that just unfolded.

“For someone who seemed so high and mighty just a minute ago, your sure not that way now... haha, I guess you have a gift as well, I guess we all do, though yours is probably some form of sight, isn’t it.?”

He looked at me still somewhat fearful and shook his head in agreement.

“Then what did you see..? When you touched him..”

He didn’t speak.

So I spoke once more.

“Let me rephrase what do you see when you touch me..?”

I reached out my hand nicely to him, the older gentleman next to him watched.

Though when I reached my hand to him, the old man almost tried preventing the head vampire from getting close to me.

Though the head vampire put up his hand and looked at him as if saying “stand down”.

The head vampire looked at me, then my hand, he hesitantly reached and grasped it.

He staggered back, almost gasping for air that he could not breathe.

His eyes were open and stared off into space around him.

I took my hand away and as he settled down from the weird display he showed.

I spoke once more.

“So, What did you see.?”

He looked at me and then my hand and then back into my eyes, he spoke solely and fearful as if seeing something that no one should ever witness.

“Everything, I saw everything and nothing. As if rushing through every capsule of time and space... though oddly enough none of it was viable, it was as if a dream where once witnessed all memory of it starts to fade.”

I asked in confusion.

“What type of BS answers is that.?”

The head vampire spoke.

“I... I think... I think your gift is time..”

“I’ve met only one vampire with power close to that but nothing on this level, she could only predict the future, but you, you can alter, stop, break time itself. It’s completely mad. But..”

The older vampire spoke.

“Your gift is a rarity, one unparalleled in the world. That must be the reason you're able to freeze people and travel at such speeds.”
