In fact, Fumiru was freaking mad. Akari was murdered, but also her house was destroyed. Fumiru's cousins had nowhere to go as they were still living with her. There was a tradition among the wardens that children lived with their parents until they found life partners and often stayed even after that. Young people weren't expelled as soon as they reached maturity, as human children, and the houses were often multi-generational.
Peaceful life of Fumiru's family ended. The only person, who was glad about this situation, was Saori, who in the end had someone, who didn't have such a manly point of view. Kayakyo was a woman, after all.
Fumiru was laying on the bed, staring at the ceiling. He agreed to let Sanoi and Kayakyo stay in his room. With these two who he always felt more connected with, especially Sanoi. Hiroaki was a short, hyperactive, chubby man, whose lips didn't shut up twenty-four hours a day. Even when he was asleep, he talked in his sleep. Takerou, on the other hand, was terribly timid, passive and lacking firmness.
Eien wasn't happy, when he lost his fight with Fumiru again and had to take the annoying half of cousins under his wings.
Sanoi admired Fumiru. Older warden didn't know, why. He guessed that it was because of the fact that after this horrible conversation with 11 years old Sanoi, it was Fumiru, who went with Sora to "talk" with Wataru. Eien also was there, but...
Kayakyo, on the other hand, was a sweet woman of medium height, with quite large breasts, although making her mad wasn't the best idea. Overall, messing with the wardens usually ended badly.
There was one thing, which was different about Sanoi and his siblings and Fumiru's family. Hair's colour. Warden could have black, light blue or white hair in human form. It wasn't strange for anyone that Sanoi, Hiroaki and Kayakyo had sky blue hair and that Takerou had hair white as snow, like their grandma. Humans of course weren't happy about it, but it wasn't as bad as in times, when wardens couldn't take human form.
Fumiru, still laying on the bed, thought in this moment that he has to end this. He has to destroy humans.
He sat on the bed and looked at Sanoi, who was reading a book. His cousin loved books. He inherited it after Akari. Not after dumb as dirt Momo or always drunk Wataru.
"Sanoi?" started Fumiru.
Younger man stopped reading.
"I thought that..."
"What?" asked Sanoi, putting a bookmark into the book.
He closed it and put it on the table.
"Do you think that trying a find Ayame Kessho is a stupid idea?"
Sanoi didn't respond. He was too frozen from shock.
But not because of the thought that this idea is stupid. It was because he thought about it just a few minutes earlier.
Somethimes these cousins thought that they have stronger brotherhood bond than with their own brothers.

"To be honest, I don't know, why are you doing this" said Kayakyo, when Fumiru and Sanoi have been preparing to travel since a week. "You can't confirm this flower's existence and where it is. How do you want to find it? Do you want to dig the length and breadth of Ryukyu?"
Fumiru and Sanoi looked at each other and nodded. Kayakyo sighed and returned to reading. Her brother and cousin were completly crazy.

Fumiru slung his bag over his shoulder and left the house, saying goodbye to the family. Hiroaki followed him and Sanoi.
"Remember to watch out for dragons, because they can eat, trample, burn or crush you and the chimeras will eat you for sure and drows and fallens will roast you on the bonfire!"
"Alright, alright, Hiroaki" Sanoi laughed and patted his brother's head. "Come home, little one."
"A kid can be little, I'm just short. And over seventy!" Hiroaki was mad.
He turned on his heel and walked home with a grace of a little elephant.
"We'll miss him" said Fumiru, heading towards the forest where he promised to meet his friend.
And, as he promised, he was standing under the tree, waiting for wardens.
"Good morning" he said, smiling mysteriously. A faint gleam of joy shone in his sad amber eyes.
A man was a nymph called Hitone and as Fumiru and Sanoi, he had his own reason to find Ayame Kessho.
