"Where did this fucking come from?" He screamed, knocking over a vase. My mum screamed from the kitchen asking who it is. "Oh, it's dad. He just came back from his Get Drunk And Find Yourself In A Gutter adventures." I said, as sarcastically as possible. Seriously, he stank.
He sensed it like a lightning bolt and scorned at me. He turned towards the TV and knocked it over. He started stomping everything in the house. Maybe he was too drunk to notice, but we had already mostly packed up all things and moved it into a new apartment in the other half. He really was going to make it harder for himself to clean. Seeing it made no effect on me, he stormed into the kitchen and I heard a slap. I got up immediately and headed over to the kitchen. My mum was holding her cheek, and my dad was standing proud, proud that he could finally get to someone be scared of him, someone weaker than him. I fucking hated those kind of people. I held him by the throat and slapped him. I was so goddamn angry at him, but more so at my mum, who let him do these things. I threw him out of the house and poked my finger at his chest.
"You will not step near this house again, and you will never even try to come near mum, you understand that?"
My dad stared at me in disbelief.
"Fuck off, for everyone's sake."
I closed the door as hard as I could. My mum started crying, and I hugged her hard. My family was fucked from the beginning. But I learned to live with it. Because you can't complain with life. You take what you get with complete acceptance.
We could start again. We could live again, this time more better than last time.
In a course of a few months, Redding made me his left-hand, and we pulled off many succesful deals in London, bringing in fucking millions. I was started to get noticed by the bigger people in this game, which was what I had exactly wanted in the first place. I became really good friends with Richardson. To be honest, he was a great friend to have around. Me and my mum moved in a top- tier apartment. I never saw my father again, and that was a relief. I was now in a coffee place, and just by chance I saw my mum with Redding. Drinking coffee together. Laughing. I hid myself, and brought my hat down to cover my head and went to order coffee. What in the actual fuck? Redding had the balls to actually date my mother? This was outrageous.
I felt a tap on my back and turned around to see a very beautiful woman on a wheelchair.
"Pretty awkward situation, eh? I suppose he is your friend of sorts, and the woman is your mother?" I blushed in embarrasment. I nodded curtly. She laughed slowly. She already had her coffee in her hands, and mine was ready. I paid up and picked, still hiding my face.
"I think you can stop that now," She said pointing. "They are already leaving."
I looked outside the coffee shop through the window which allowed the view of the outside world. Redding was directing her to get in the car, acting like a fucking gentleman, and my mum was thrilled. She never got this kind of affection in her marriage life. Redding got in and drove off. I was burning inside. And, for some reason, this woman was finding this very funny. She extender her hand, expecting a handshake.
