Nico and Nero were driving home after another job done. They collected the payment and headed home. They were bickering as always, when the phone rang. Nero answered it, shutting her up. Turned out it was Trish.

-Go straight to the hospital, the time has come. – she said.

-We'll be there asap. – he answered and hung up. – Kyrie is giving birth.

-OMG OMG OMG! – she said accelerating.

They took some sharp turns and even though they were speeding a lot, it still felt like eternity before they reached the hospital. Nero jumped out of the car, before it even stopped. He ran inside, leaving Nico behind. All that mattered right now was to be there for Kyrie and not to miss his son's birth. He looked around trying to spot some nurse to get to know where Kyrie was, until he felt someone grab his elbow and drag him somewhere. It was Lady.

-This way. – she said and pushed him through the door. Nero spotted Kyrie on the bed, already sweaty, with her hair untied. He ran up to her and held her hand.

-Hey babe, I'm sorry I took so long. – he panted out, kissing her forehead.

-At least you're here. – she answered breathing heavily and screaming in pain when the cramps hit her again.

Nero squeezed her hand, feeling his heart break every time she screamed. For a moment he regretted getting her pregnant. He put her in so much pain.

-I'm sorry for putting you through this. – he said with a cracking voice. Kyrie was the most important person in his life and she was suffering.

-Don't be stupid. – she grunted pushing. – We are starting the family! – she screamed and gave one last push before they heard the baby's cry.

Kyrie panted heavily and chuckled in happiness. The baby got detached from her, then the nurse washed the boy and let the doctor examine him. Nero was asked to leave as the nurses cleaned Kyrie up. Then she was moved to the patient room with Nero and the girls by his side. Kyrie fell asleep while Nero played with her hair with a fond smile on his face. After few minutes the nurse brought the small bundle to them. Nero stood up and took the baby in his arms before Nico could get to his son. He was sleeping peacefully.

-He's cute. – said Trish looking at the boy, taking him from his father after few minutes. Lady and Nico were all over the boy as well.

-Damn, he's like half an hour old and he already has all the ladies. – chuckled Nero.

-What will his name be finally? You still didn't chose. – said Nico looking up at Nero and Kyrie.

-First I want Kyrie to wake up. – he answered caressing her cheek.

Time skip

Kyrie woke up around four hours later. She smiled seeing the girls sleeping on the couch, while Nero cooed at the newborn in his arms. It was a heartwarming sight for her.

-I see you two have some bonding time. – she smiled, getting Nero's attention.

-You're awake. – he smiled back and moved closer to Kyrie. – Here's your mom kiddo.

-Hi. – said Kyrie taking him in her arms. He just yawned and held her finger in his tiny palm. – He's adorable. Did you pick the name?

-I wanted you to be awake. – answered Nero shaking his head slightly. – Are we going with Y/n as we planned?

-Y/n Sparda, I like it. – she smiled.

-Can we...- Nero hesitated a bit before he continued. He had a lot of time to think over that request. - ...add Vergil as his middle name?

-Of all middle names I thought you'd want Dante more. – she answered.

-Vergil was my father. – said Nero. – And from what I know all he wanted was to be strong enough to protect his family. Even if he was pushing them away.

-So Y/n Vergil Sparda. – smiled Kyrie. – Welcome to the world.

The boy just yawned again and went to sleep this time, as if he was completely uninterested in the fact that he just had a quite eventful day. Nero chuckled at that and kissed Kyrie's cheek. The parenting adventure just begun for them.
