Few days later the whole gang was standing in front of the Bloody Palace. Y/n was forbidden from using the Mundus armor, cause Vergil and Dante wanted to see how good would he do without it. Nero took a step in the direction of the entrance, when Nico ran up to Y/n.

-It's ready. – she grinned and handed him a box. – I want you to test it.

-Let's see what do we got here. – he chuckled opening the box. Inside he found a revolver with two riffles, similar to Nero's.

-You always wanted to have one. – said Nico. – Check it out. – she added and took the gun from him. She pressed a button at the side of the gun. One of the riffles parted from the weapon. Then Nico connected it to the end of the other riffle. – You can use it this way too.

-Yeah. – chuckled Y/n. – I can't decide which option is better. Thanks.

-Reay to go? – asked Dante, urging Y/n inside. – Let's get started.

Y/n followed Dante inside of the Palace. They went in the separate rooms and the demons started spawning immediately. Y/n took Alastor in his hand and attacked the enemies. Occasionally he would shoot, but the sword turned out to be way more useful. He cleared the stage fast without any problems. The three portals opened at the same time.

-Let's say... - he muttered as he tried to pick the more efficient one. – That one. – He said and went through the burning one.

He was teleported to the room with huge 101 sign, indicating that the fire portal was actually the best one. The demons appeared again, this time he had to face a big Reaper. It was screaming a lot and teleported to the other end of the room all the time.

-Stay still bitch. – he cursed swinging his sword at the demon again. – Piece of crap, you're slowing me down. If uncle Dante wins, I will never hear the end of that. – Y/n chuckled, turning into his devil form. He grabbed the Reaper with his paw to bring him close. Then he stabbed the monster until the Reaper fell to the floor dead and the portals opened again.

Time skip

Nero cursed as the next wave of demons attacked him. He was sure the stage was clear buy much to his surprise he will have to stay here for few more seconds. He slashed the demons with his sword and this time the portals did show up.

-It's about the damn time. – he sighed and walked through the green one, sending him 100 floors up. – What the hell?! – he yelled seeing the two huge spiders. They jumped on him, making him dodge. He didn't have much time to think about the good way to attack so he tried a bash from above. He got hit by the other spider immediately sending Nero to the other side of the room. – Fucking assholes. – he muttered and attacked the spiders again.

Time skip

Dante chuckled as he wiped the sweat from his forehead. He took his sword out of the Griffon's body and waited for the portals to open. He smirked seeing that he was high in the Palace, with a really good timing. There was no way that he wouldn't win. Dante was sent to the last stage. He met a Beowulf, a Cerberus and a Phantom.

-Seems like a recap from my life. – he laughed and turned into this devil form. There was no point in wasting time. He was going for a win after all. – Time to show the kids that I'm still the best.

He fried the Beowulf with his powers first, since he considered it the easiest of his opponents. Then the Phantom got on his nerves with its constant jumping. Cerberus was the hardest, but Dante managed to cut his paws to make him hit the ground. Dante didn't waste any more time, he cut the Cerberus's heads off and watched as the portals opened. He jumped in one of them grinning, sure that he was the first on the top of the Bloody Palace. Much to his displeasure he saw that Vergil appeared there at the same time as Dante.
