Dante and Vergil looked at each other and immediately started running to the throne in the middle of the top floor. They were in the middle of the road when they noticed that the throne was already taken.

-Took your time. – smirked Y/n.

-How long are you waiting here? – asked Dante.

-Around an hour now. – said Y/n looking at his watch.

The conversation was interrupted by the portal opening again. They looked in its direction to see Nero running out. Few seconds after him Trish appeared, Lady was the last, complaining about being human and having to compete against demons.

-That damn spider! – groaned Nero. – It's all its fault!

-You mean Phantom? – asked Trish. – Piece of cake.

-Hey kid! – laughed Dante. – You're getting better, but that's still a long way to go.

-Says the one who lost to my son. – answered Nero walking up to the throne along with the girls. – Good job.

-I demand rematch! – yelled Dante. – Against Y/n and my dear brother.

-Just accept your failure. – said Y/n stretching up. – Let's go home.

The hunters went out of the palace though the portal leading outside. Nico was waiting for them in the van, smoking a cigarette as always. She didn't have to ask, all she needed was to take look at her friends' faces.

-The gun was awesome. – said Y/n grinning.

-I'm guessing that you won. – she chuckled. – Nero looks like he was the last.- she teased.

-I was third! – he yelled triggered, making Nico laugh.

Y/n jumped on the couch and started playing on his phone. He was getting drawn into the game, so when it was interrupted with the incoming call, he threw some curses before answering it.

-Yeah? – he said.

-Hi Y/n. – Y/n widened his eyes, hearing Hannah's voice in the speaker. – How's it going?

-Uh, not bad. – he answered. – What's up?

-Well I promised you a call, didn't I? – she giggled.

-Yeah, you did. – chuckled Y/n. – Wanna meet up tonight?

-I have school work to do unfortunately. – she sighed. – But you can drop by anyway.

-Sorry, but I'll pass. – chuckled Y/n. – Your mom will talk me to death.

-Alright, then. – she giggled. – I'll call you later. – she said and hung up after saying a small goodbye.

He put his phone away and looked up. Nero, Dante and Vergil were smirking at him, noticing the immediate change of tone in Y/n's voice, when he realized who he was talking to. Nero had the same thing with Kyrie.

-My little N/n is growing up. – chuckled Nero, teasing his son.

-N/n has a girlfriend! – laughed Dante.

-She's not my girlfriend! – argued Y/n.

-Yet. – said Vergil, making Y/n groan in annoyance.

-This is ridiculous. – he sighed and ran his hand through his hair.

Time skip

Y/n walked in his room after the dinner for a nap. His mom was an amazing cook, but she always made a lot of food and Y/n ended up eating too much in the process. He fell on the bed and closed his eyes. He was drifting off already when his phone rang. Y/n groaned and whispered few curses, until he saw the caller ID. He blushed after he reminded himself all the teasing from his family, then cleared his throat and answered the call.

-Hey. – he said, trying to sound as cool as possible.

-Hi. – giggled Hannah. – I'm done with my work, so I have plenty of free time now.

-Nice. – answered Y/n. – I could use a nice walk or something. I'll pick you up in few minutes.

Y/n forgot about the nap. He got up, put his leather coat on and went downstairs. He didn't think it was a mistake, until he heard Nero asking him where was he going.

-Well...- he gulped. – ...out?

-Y/n I noticed you're going out. – answered Nero. – Be more specific.

-Nero, he's adult. – giggled Kyrie. – Be careful and make sure to not to catch a cold. – she said, pulling Nero back to the living room. Y/n chuckled and walked out of the house. He walked for a bit, until he lost the sight of his house he started running. In no time he was at the spot, knocking on the door.

-I can't believe I'm doing this. – he said chuckling at his own behavior.
