The school was coming to an end. Vergil and Y/n still remembered the day, when they met each other for a first time. Over those four years the relationship between them got extremely strong. For Y/n had something on his mind for a while, but wanted to wait for the finals to be over first. Now he wanted an answer for a different question though.

-Sweetheart, will you go to the prom with me? – he asked making Vergil chuckle.

-We attended three previous proms together. Plus the prom is in two days. – he said. – Of course I will go with you.

-Thank you for honoring me with your presence, love.- chuckled Y/n and pecked Vergil's lips.

Time skip

Dante was accompanied by Trish and Lady, so there was not much of a change in his case as well. Vergil and Y/n wore matching suits and came to the party with Dante and the girls. They found an empty table and claimed it as theirs. Soon Dante and Y/n heard the song they both enjoyed, so Vergil didn't have much of a choice but accompany his boyfriend on the dancefloor.

-May I have this dance? – Y/n purred in Vergil's ear sending pleasure chills down his spine.

He pulled Vergil close against his chest and started dancing with him. Dante whined to Lady and Trish that they had a great time without him, while Y/n and Vergil focused on each other. When the song finished they heard a song that Vergil was fond of. Knowing that Y/n pulled his closer and swayed slowly. Vergil wrapped his arms around Y/n's neck and pecked his lips.

-I love you. – he said.

-I love you too. – smiled Y/n. – It's hard to believe that I met the love of my life in this hellhole.

They both chuckled at that remark and continued their dance until the song ended. They waited few seconds to get to know what song will be next. When it turned out to be some crap they went to their table. Y/n left him for few seconds to get drinks, then got back to him. They talked and smiled at each other, then Lady and Trish joined them.

-Have you seen Dante? – asked Lady.

-Nope. – Y/n shook his head wrapping his arm around Vergil. – I have my eyes on this cutie only.

-Can you two stop being so adorable? – chuckled Trish.

-I don't see the chance. – answered Vergil playing with Y/n's hair.

-There he is. – said Y/n looking in Dante's direction.

The girls went to Vergil's brother when they spotted him, leaving the couple alone again. Vergil relaxed next to his boyfriend when he felt his hand in his thigh. He tried to ignore that, so Y/n moved it closed to his crotch.

-Y/n, what are you doing? – he asked.

-What does it look like to you? – smirked Y/n. – How about we find some place for ourselves?

-Do you have condoms, you horndog? – asked Vergil raising his eyebrow at his boyfriend. Y/n only grunted and pouted.

-I don't. – he muttered earning a chuckle from Vergil.

He kissed his cheek to ease his pout a bit. Y/n pecked his lips and leaned his head against Vergil's shoulder. Vergil played with his hair until they heard another good song to dance to, the heavier sound was surprising though. It turned out that there was a reason behind the sudden change of music style. Y/n cried in laughter when he noticed Dante, Lady and Trish behind the laptop with music. Apparently the jock responsible for it got kicked out by them.

-Come. – said Vergil pulling him to stand up. – Maybe some dancing will get your mind off of sex.

Y/n chuckled and let Vergil pull him to the dancefloor. They pulled each other close and danced with Lady and Trish when they went up to them. Dante stayed to watch the laptop. The girls split Y/n and Vergil for a second, before they touched each other with their backs and focused on each other again. They turned around to face each other. Y/n pulled Vergil to him and kissed him passionately earning a series of squeals from the girls around. Vergil didn't waste any second before kissing back. They pulled away with smirks on each other's faces. Dante laughed at that and switched the song to something slower again, getting Vergil more hugs from Y/n.
