Y/n and Vergil were getting dressed in the morning, after a night full of cuddles and kisses. The couple was planning on buying a car. They ate a breakfast and got out of the house. Y/n's father recommended getting one straight from the car dealer, but Y/n complained about all the new models, so the only way to satisfy him was getting a used car.

-Honey, are they really that bad? – asked Vergil.

-Yes. – muttered Y/n. – Unless you will change your mind and let me get a Ferrari.

-We've talked about it. – sighed Vergil. – This is a car for two people.

-But it's only me and you, two people. – argued Y/n.

-What if we had a kid? – asked Vergil. -Would you get rid of the Ferrari?

-What for? We could get another, but bigger, car. –said Y/n. After all they had quite big garage.

-What about sex in the car? – smirked Vergil.

Y/n tried to say something to that, but he couldn't have any good argument, so he just shut up with a pout on his face. The rest of the way to the next place with the cars for sale passed in silence. Y/n still was a bit sulky when he entered the area. He looked around, without much interest anymore. Seeing that, Vergil threatened him that he either get something decent, or he will buy an ugliest minivan existing.

-Fine, I want this one. – said Y/n pointing at the Subaru Legacy standing between two SUVs.

-I'm shocked that you didn't pick any coupe again. – answered Vergil. – Okay, let's try it out.

They found the owner of the joint and took that car for the test drive. When they came back, Y/n was pissed off beyond belief, because the gearbox figured out it's was not in the mood to actually change gears. Therefore the searching for the car didn't cease yet. Y/n and Vergil were forced to visit three other spots before Y/n found something that caught his eye for longer than a second.

-Stinger, huh? – smirked Y/n seeing a blue Kia.

They took the car for the test drive. This time Y/n was pleased with the acceleration and gearbox, the breaks were okay, the engine and the suspension didn't make any sound.

-Why are you getting rid of it? – asked Y/n.

-My wife is having twins, and we already have two children. – sais the current owner. – I have to buy something bigger and I don't earn enough to maintain two cars at once.

Y/n nodded at his words and took a look at the car once more. Vergil already liked the color and the inside, so he didn't have anything against the car at all. Y/n walked around the vehicle again and decided to accept the little scratches on the paint.

-We'll take it. – said Y/n.

They signed the papers, Y/n paid up and the car was his. He got in with Vergil and drove off on the direction of their house. Y/n was exhausted, but pleased with the outcome. It took a lot of walking and few terrible test drives until they hit the...

-Do you like our purchase? – asked Y/n.

-I'd say we hit a jackpot. – chuckled Vergil.

Vergil asked Y/n to make a stop at some takeaway to get some food for dinner. They have spent more time looking for a suitable car, than they predicted, so there was no dinner ready at home. They grabbed some burgers and continued their way home.

They took few sharper turns to check how the car would behave. Everything seemed perfectly fine. Y/n couldn't believe that he actually could get used car, just because its previous owner needed to get rid of it out of honest reasons, not because the engine was in agony.

Y/n pulled up to their driveway and used the pilot to open the garage gate. They waited few seconds for it to open, then Y/n parked the car in the garage. They got out of the vehicle and locked it and the garage gate. After eating the dinner, Vergil led Y/n to the bedroom for a nap. Both of them were exhausted with their day. Y/n pulled Vergil close to him and kissed his cheek. They fell asleep in the matter of seconds.
