-Detective? – asked Lucifer. Y/n huffed at the scene in front of him and walked up to his father. He huffed again at the ruined suit and a bloody shirt he was wearing.

-I hate to break that lovely moment, but can we go home? – muttered Y/n as he walked up to Lucifer. The devil himself hugged his son tightly making him grunt in pain. – Dad I need to take these bullets out of my body.

-I'm just relieved. – chuckled Lucifer and let go of Y/n. – Is my real face still visible?

-Yeah. – grunted Y/n again.

-Wait, nobody is going to explain this to me? – asked Chloe, getting their attention.

-I told you I'm a real devil, you just didn't believe me. – said Lucifer. – Now my son needs to be taken care of, please excuse us. – he said and left with his son.

Time skip

Lucifer pulled the bullets out of Y/n's back. Y/n gritted his teeth in pain, holding his painful grunts back. Once he was done, he watched as Y/n's wounds healed up immediately. Then Y/n went to the shower and changed in a clean suit. Once he walked out he stretched up and poured some whiskey in two glasses.

-Cheers. – said Y/n and handed one to his father.

-Thanks. – answered Lucifer and took a sip. – How do you feel?

-Apart from the mental damage of being shot, I'm fine. – shrugged Y/n. – You should call Chloe.

-I did when you were showering. – said Lucifer. – She actually went to see Linda. She wanted us to come for a family dinner tonight. That's what Linda suggested.

-As long as it helps her to deal with the fact that we are devils it's fine. – nodded Y/n.

-Not that you have a choice. – chuckled Lucifer. – I was just informing you that we are going. – he explained earning a chuckle from his son.

Time skip

Lucifer and Y/n drove to Chloe's house in silence. Then Lucifer parked the car behind a familiar Dodge and they got out of the Corvette. Lucifer knocked on the door while Y/n leaned against the wall next to his father. The door was answered by grinning Trixie.

-Lucifer! – she yelled and hugged him around the waist. Lucifer awkwardly patted her head and once she let go of him he made his way inside. – Who's that?

-That's Lucifer's son I told you about. – smiled Chloe, as Trixie gasped and hugged Y/n too. Y/n chuckled and picked her up, carrying her in the house.

-My name's Y/n, nice to meet you. – he smiled.

-I'm Trixie, likewise. – she giggled. Trixie was talking to Y/n a lot. He could say she was excited about meeting Lucifer's son.

-Where's that boy? – asked Chloe's mother, walking in the kitchen. – Where's my new grandson? – she walked up to Y/n and hugged him tight. Y/n was shocked with her behavior.

-Does that mean you're my brother? – asked Trixie with a wide green on her face.

-Dad, help. – said Y/n confused.

-Well...-started Chloe. – Me and Lucifer are officially dating, so that kinda makes you Trixie's brother and my mom's grandson. Unless you have something against that.

-I'm completely fine. – grinned Y/n.

Then Y/n had a small talk with Dan. He was still broken-hearted after Charlotte's death. The fact that the killer was dead helped a little bit, but he was still far from being okay. Y/n guessed that Linda will have another patient, but he didn't say that out loud. Then Trixie called them both to the dining room as the food was ready. They joined the family at the table and started eating.

-I bet Lucifer doesn't cook. – said Chloe when Y/n looked like he was in heaven.

-I prefer wasting time on other things. – answered Lucifer.

-He is a growing man, he needs to eat properly. – scolded Chloe. Y/n rolled his eyes and chuckled. – I will have to take care that.

-I will gladly appreciate it. – chuckled Y/n and took another bite.

-Hey, you were supposed to be on my side. – whined Lucifer.

-Can't help it. – Y/n chuckled again and took another bite of his steak. – By the way...can I call Detective mom? Or should I still call you by your name?

-Mom is fine. – chuckled Chloe. – Who's ready for a dessert?
