Y/n looked around the New York. He just moved in there with his parents, because his mom got promoted at work. He didn't really want to move out of his hometown, but he didn't really have a choice. His parents had few good arguments for moving house, one of them being the new possibilities. Y/n used to train martial arts and kendo back when he was living in T/n. Now he wanted to try something else. Since he was staring new life in New place he could as well learn something new.
-I'd like to sign up for your boxing club. - said Y/n as he walked in the building.
-Fill up this form please. - smiled the young lady at the lobby.
Y/n did what he was told and handed the form back to the lady. Seeing that he was old enough to not to need his parent's permission, he got accepted. He was allowed to the gym hall to meet the coach and the other members of the club. He walked in silently and watched as they trained.
-What are you doing here? - asked the tall man, Y/n assumed he was the coach.
-Y/n L/n, I just signed up. - explainedY/n.
-Oh, then welcome in the team. - smiled the man shaking Y/n's hand. - I'm the coach here, Jason Morisson.
Morisson called out to the others toget their attention. They all stopped their training and looked at their coach. The coach introduced him to the fellow boxers and gave him their names, not that Y/n remembered them after few seconds.
-Mac, you're in charge of showing Y/n around. - said the couch. The blondie teen grinned and jumped off ofthe ring.
-Sure thing Morrison. - he said then turned his attention to Y/n. - Nice to meet you.
-Likewise. - smirked Y/n.
Mac showed Y/n around the building, then brought him back to the gym hall. He tried to encourage Y/n to show him some of his skills, but the newcomer only shook his head.Mac was intrigued, after all Y/n looked strong. He definately had todo sports.
-Oh, come on. - whined Mac. - Tell me something about you.
-What for? - answered Y/n, getting tired of Mac's hyperactive attitude.
-Why not? - smirked Mac tilting his head to the side.
-Fine, I moved here yesterday from T/n and I trained kendo and martial arts. - sighed Y/n, hoping that Mac would leave him alone after that.
-Awesome. - grinned Mac. - Can't wait till we meet on the ring.
Y/n chuckled and shook his head. He was both annoyed with Mac's behavior, but at the same time he liked his company. He was sure he wouldn't be bored during the practices. Y/n couldn't wait to get on the ring either. He felt the tension in his shoulders and it needed to be released soon. Y/n's first practice was supposed to be on the next day. He could wait one day without problems.
-Since I'm new here, mind showing me around the city a bit too? - asked Y/n smiling lightly.
-No problem, wait for me after the training. - answered Mac without thinking twice.
After the practice finished Y/n waited for Mac. He called his parents to let them know that he enrolled to the boxing club and that he will be a bit late because his new friend was showing him around. His father didn't mind at all. Y/n waited for few more minutes before Mac finally showed up.
-Ready to go? - asked Mac earning a nod from Y/n.
They started walking. Mac showed him all the places worth visiting nearby, most of them consisting of restaurants and fast food places. Then Y/n asked where could he buy books and games, so Mac dragged him to the metro station and explained which train to take to get to the interesting parts of the city. Y/n realized that the metropolis he moved in to was providing him with everything he needed. He didn't have to visit several other towns when he was shopping. That was very convenient.
-So what do you think about New York? -asked Mac after the trip.
-I like it. - nodded Y/n smiling.
They exchanged the numbers and parted their ways. Y/n made his way home, just in time for a small snack. He wouldn't admit that, but he couldn't wait for tomorrow.
