Y/n kept walking until he reached the marble chamber. It was huge, looking almost like heaven. At the end of the chamber there was a gigantic statue. Y/n took a deep breath and made his way closer. He watched as three red spots connected with red lighnings appeared on the statue's forehead.

-I have captured the sons of Sparda. -laughed Mundus. - Now I see the son of Lucifer himself.

-Time to put an end to you. - said Y/n calmly. - Where are Vergil and Dante?

-In the very same room as you and I. -chuckled Mundus. - Look behind you.

Y/n did what he was told. He saw Dante, Vergil and Trish held up above the entrance to the chamber. They woke up slowly as Y/n watched them. Vergil opened his eyes and saw that Mundus was shoting the spear in Y/n's back.

-Y/n! - he screamed seeing his beloved collapsed on his knees. Dante and Trish opened their eyes to witness it as well. They started trashing around, trying to break free. Mundus prepared two spears and aimed at the twins.

-Time to wipe out the remaining Sparda bloodline. - he said and shot the spears.

They didn't reach their destinations though. Mundus watched shocked as a black demon with blue eyes was holding his spears. He was flying on his massive black-feathered wings. The demon crushed the spears in his paws.

-I'll choke you in your own painful cries. - he said.

Mundus was focused on the powerful creature in front of him, so much that he didn't put a good hold on the twins and Trish. They landed on the marble floor and saw that Y/n attacked the statue already. Mundus transfered himslef and Y/n to another dimension.

-We have to get out of here. - said Dante seeing that the castle was about to collapse.

-But Y/n... - protested Vergil.

-I know. - he sighed in respone.- Trust him, he's got it.

Vergil looked at him, scared that he may never see Y/n again. He followed after Trush and Dante after another strong wave of earthquake. They ran as fast as they could before the floor collapsed under their feet. They landed somewhere below the castle. They noticed that there was a plane there. An idea popped in Dante's mind.

-Trish, help me. - he said. Dante and Trish used their powers to break the wall and started the plane.

Dante dragged Vergil to the plane flew away, leaving the Mallet Island. They did few circles around it, before they were forced to run away as the island blew out. Vergil gasped, too startled with what he was seeing to react. He felt a pain in his chest at the thought that he lost Y/n. He gritted his teeth and looked down to hide his tears. He was sitting behind Dante, so no one noticed his pain. Dante was sheding tears for his best friend as well.

-What the hell? - asked Dante as he saw a black demon from before flying above them. He was carrying the blond woman in his arms. Right behind him he spoted another demon, looking like a cockroach. - Dad...?

They flew like that for a while before they found a spot they could get rid of the plane. Vergil, Trish and Dante jumped out of the plane and watched it crash in the pond. The trio landed on the ground and looked around for the two demons that were around them all the time.

-Hello love. - said the black demon and turned back into his human form.

-Y/n. - said Vergil and jumped in Y/n's arms. He sobbed silently, feeling relieved. Y/n just held him, running his fingers though his hair to soothe him.

-So you're my son's mate, huh? - said the white-haired demon. - Dante, why are you carrying my sword?

-Father? - asked Vergil not believing his eyes.

-Pops? - Dante stared at Sparda too, trying to comprehend the situation.

-My boys. - smiled the blonde woman. -You grew up.

-Mom! - Vergil and Dante yelled together and ran to her.

They hugged their mother still deep in shock. Y/n watched the family reunion with a smile on his handsome face. Sparda only huffed and took his sword away from Dante. Eva pulled her husband in a hug too. Sparda chuckled and hugged his family.

-Mom, father. - said Vergil pulling away. - I want to introduce you to someone. - he led them to Y/n. -This is my mate, Y/n.

-Y/n Morningstar. - smiled Y/n.

-Out of those Morningstars? - asked Sparda eyeing Y/n up and down.

-Indeed. - nodded Y/n, holding Sparda's burning gaze.

-Welcome to the family. - smiled Eva and hugged Y/n unexpectedly.

Y/n thanked her chuckling. As they walked back to Devil May Cry they pondered on what to do about Trish. She changed after meeting Dante and Vergil. She saw how a love could reach even the demons.

-How about you stay and help around the business? - asked Dante wrapping his arm around Trish. - You have nowhere to go.

-I agree. - nodded Y/n. - The more sidekick we have, the better.
