Vergil put his book away and made his way to the kitchen for a snack. He kept having cramps for the whole day, but he didn't think much of them. He continued making a sandwich until another painful cramp hit him. Next thing he felt was wetness between his legs and another cramp. He widened his eyes in realization and called out to Y/n, who was finishing the nursey.

-Y/n my water broke. - said Vergil once Y/n appeared by his side.

Vergil grunted in pain again. Y/n didn't waste anymore time. He put a coat on Vergil and led him to the car. He speeded to the doctor's office, the one Sparda led them to. He remembered the way perfectly. They arrived few painful minutes later. Vergil did all he could but from time to time the whimpers were leaving his lips.

-It's time. - said Y/n to the doctor. He led Vergil to the bed. There were three nurses around, preparing for labor. Y/n was pushed out of the room, despite his protests. He gritted his teeth when the door were slammed shut. He decided to call Sparda. - Vergil is in labor.

-We're on our way. - he said and hung up on Y/n.

Y/n was pacing nervously on the corridor. Vergil's grunts ceased, probably he was having the C-section now. Sparda and Eva arrived few minutes later and went up to Y/n. Eva was holding Y/n, who was shaking in nervousness and fear. Sparda could remember himself when his twins were born, he couldn't collect himslef either. He remembered how he was apologizing to his wife for putting her through this pain. And she just smiled and gave birth to Vergil, then to Dante.

Speaking of the devil, Dante, Trish and Lady joined them as well. Dante tried to not to panic, after all nervous Y/n was enough. Half an hour later they heard a baby's cry. Y/n widened his eyes at that and stared at the door to the room where Vergil was. Another cry was heard, then there was silence again. Not so long after the nurses went out of the room, carrying the two bundles.

-Let the grandparents hold them first.- grinned Sparda and took one of the children in his arms, while Eva took the other one.

Y/n glanced at the two boys. Both of them were white-haired. Y/n didn't know he was crying until he felt the ters coming down his cheeks. He wiped them off chuckling. Dante patted his shoulder grinning as he looked at his nephiews.

-Congratulations pops. - he said.

-Thanks. - chuckled Y/n.

-I knew that Vergil will be the one to give us grandchildren first. - chuckled Sparda.

-Hey! - Dante wanted to protest, but they were interrupted by the doctor.

-Everything is okay, you may go see Vergil. - he smiled. Y/n basically ran in the room and sat down next to Vergil. He held his hand and kissed it until Vergil woke up.

Time skip

Vergil woke up after a while, it was already dark. First thing he saw was Y/n's face. He smiled lightly then widened his eyes.

-Where are the kids? - he asked.

-Sleeping over there. - answered Y/n pointing at the two cribs on the right. Vergil sighed relieved. - How do you feel?

-I just got two kids taken out of me.- he said. - I'm sore and tired, I feel wonderful. And I love you.

-Love you too. - smiled Y/n.

-Did you sleep at all? - asked Vergil seeing the circles uder Y/n's eyes.

-I was too worried. - sighed Y/n. - I calmed down when you woke up.

-Adorable. - smiled Vergil. - Come on, lay down and have some rest.

-I'll watch over you. - answered Y/n.

-I love your protective mode, but you need rest as well. - teased Vergil and pulled Y/n close.

Y/n chuckled and laid down next to Vergil. He put his arm over him carefully to not to hurt him. Y/n laid his head on Vergil's shoulder and closed his eyes. Vergil did the same and slept until the morning. They had a quite evenful day.
