Another one of Baronia's monsters is deployed down from space. The gates open up, revealing the hanger. Gunner is loaded inside a massive cannon with a push of a few buttons. The gun stretched out as the doctor measured the coordinates for the artillery to fire.

 “All sections ready. Power at 100%, power cells full. Engage!”

      The cannon fires out their monster as it goes to the museum. Back below, Alistor and the party still have Sullivan surrounded. A crashing sound breaks through the concrete ceiling as Alistor and the party jumps out of the way.  

“What is that?” Questioned Alistor.

     The smoke clears away as a new monster debut. Sullivan opened his communication mirror.

“That’s all the help you’ll be getting. So don’t fail!” Rambled the King.

     The commander quickly got behind his monster as the team faced the new foe.  

“I am the Gunner! Artillery Power of Baronia!”

Multiple angles of the monster were viewed through each member's eyes as they witnessed the power coming from this new foe. The Gunner was armed with many weapons stuffed around his body. A pair of giant metal shields for total defense. The monster pulls out a giant flamethrower to get the battle started. Flames sprayed out with insane range as the party had to jump out of harm's way. A part of Alistor's cape caught on fire as he attempted to put it out.

“Not a good way to start.” Alistor panted.

     The Gunner locks on Alistor as he is distracted, trying to extinguish the fire on his cape. Tannen reacted quickly to save Alistor again as he summoned a wall of earth to cover him. The intense flames impacted the wall as it heated rapidly. Alistor finally had the fire put out on his cape. The flames were so tense that the wall slowly crumbled.

“Hurry and get back!” Tannen hollered.

     Auroa grabs Alistor from the waist with one flick of his whip, reeling him back. The flames then break through the wall. Auroa and Maigashi dragged him away with Tannen as they regrouped. The monster begins perusing after them. Maigashi fired a few lightning arrows, but the massive shields covered him.

 "I am one of the King's favorite weapons in his arsenal. You're wrong if you think you can beat me easily as you did to Mecha Tiger. I am far superior to Mecha Tiger and your worse opponent."

Things weren’t going as planned as they retreated further back.

“Where do you think you’re all going?” Asked the monster as it had its flamethrower ready to shoot again.

“Auroa! Use one of your Mukkyou spheres.” Maigashi ordered.

     Auroa dropped Alistor for Maigashi to continue dragging as he pulled a foggy sphere from his pocket. Auroa tossed it, forcing a fog burst out. The monster started to hesitate with a lost vision of them. Alistor and the party quickly slip away.  

“What! I can’t see anything. Where did they go?” Responded Gunner.

     Sullivan got out of hiding. With complete confidence as he praised Gunner for support.

"Those cowards! It seems they'll get away." Sighed Gunner.

“Not to worry! I’ll use my powers to set up a barricade on all entrances so they won’t escape.” The commander assured.

“I am at your service Sullivan my lord.”

     The Knight piece made a plan as Gunner followed.

"Ok, you'll dispose of them while I wait outside, focusing on the barrier. You know, for a machine, I can't tell if you're smiling or not with that mask under your mouth. Well, no matter, let us begin."

      He summoned a barrier outside as it caged over the museum.

“Damn! We’re trapped in.” Maigashi pounded.

     There was no getting in or out as they had to fight this monster. Sullivan sits outside, smirking in excitement. The enemy begins searching around the museum for them. They kept a safe distance away in hiding as Alistor and the party planned out something quickly.

“So we’ll try and see if this works?” Auroa nodded.

“There’s no use in hiding the whole time. We have to take this monster down as fast as possible.” Maigashi said.

      They head out in two teams and split up around the museum. They plan to lure the monster to a four-way point in the main hall. Alistor was with Auroa, while Maigashi followed Tannen.

"Hey…I see the monster approaching." Maigashi whispered.

     Tannen and Maigashi concealed themselves behind a couple statues.

“You ready?” Asked Tannen.

Maigashi gave him back a look.

“Ready for what?”

"To lure the monster to the four-way point mentioned in our plan." Whispered Tannen.

   An annoyed look was on his face.

“Why me?” He whispered back.

"Cause you are our fastest runner in the team." Tannen snapped back.

     Maigashi refused to do it as he remained concealed. He then pushes Maigashi out with his earth to get into the Gunner monster's view. Maigashi started running like crazy as it chased him with the flamethrower.

“Damn you! Tannen!” Yelled Maigashi.

He makes his way to the second floor. Tannen moved in from behind as the monster didn't suspect him. The Gunner monster shoots out its flames as Maigashi jumps across the other side.

“I’m not getting paid enough for this.”

     The monster continued to follow Maigashi as he lured him to the four-way point in the museum. Auroa drops another fog sphere from above to make it lose its vision. Alistor rushes out with his sword to strike the monster.

“Star Breaker!”

      Alistor plunged his sword inside the Gunners flamethrower as the fog cleared. The Gunner attempts to shake Alistor off, but he holds on with his sword stuck inside. The flamethrower malfunctioned as flames spewed out.

“He’s disarmed!” Alistor said.

     Tannen summoned one of his teacher's weapons.

“Tonba!”

      A massive hammer grew in size as he jumped in midair. The monster reacted by surprise by the gigantic weapon, using one of its shields to block it. The Tonba impacted Gunner's shield by making shockwaves across the building, shattering more glasses. The force of the impact sent the monster flying into a wall.

“A cheap shot….” Muttered Gunner.

     The monster got back up as soon as Alistor finished pulling his sword from what remained of the flamethrower. Gunner then pulls out an energy-based shotgun to start firing at them. Tannen barricaded the party easily with more walls of earth. Mini rockets launched out of the monster's back as it aimed for them from above.

“Wind Whip Slash!”

     Auroa diverged them away with his wind. The monster blocks the blasts with his other shield unscratched.

“Now it’s my turn!”

     Maigashi jumped in on the other side, firing a lightning arrow. The arrow landed straight on the side of the monster's neck as it malfunctioned briefly, but it quickly pulled it out.

“Damn! This guy is one tough cookie.”

“What should we do now?” Alistor wondered.

     Tannen pulls out his other teacher's weapon Clatrus. A fancy-looking lance with feathers tattered across.

"This weapon is my second master's primary weapon, the Clatrus. A quick mind-bending weapon that will liquefy itself in metal."

The Gunner brings out its rocket launcher as it blows away the multiple earth walls covering the team. The explosion creates a plume of smoke from the impact, destroying other artifacts in the museum. The smoke clears as it reveals Alistor and the party defended by liquid metal. They were unharmed, as Tannen shows what this weapon can do.

“What’s surrounding us? It feels cold.” As Maigashi shivered with his arms embracing his body for warmth.
