The Kafkinator steps in.
"I request to take command? As a better-suited commander, I have more experience and power compared to the lights of him. Better yet, let me intervene early."
The King took his consideration.
"Hmm, you've done so much good for Baronia, and I must admit you are my better Knight. Then again, I cannot risk losing you, so hold off for now."
He was slightly disappointed but was speaking to himself in his mind. They all continue with their tea party as the Kafkinator walks off, taking his leave.
“I’ll dispose of that fool somehow, ha mark my words. You made Baronia a laughing stock.”
The Kafkinator sneaks down to earth to stalk the current commander in place.
In another corridor of the fortress, one monster is discussing something with its other monstrous buddies.
“Why are you deciding to help Commander Sullivan? The King ordered everyone to cease aid for him.” Questioned a shady robotic figure.
"Yeah? What makes you want to step in?" Asked the clunky one.
The monster discussing the subject reveals himself in the light. A mechanized spider reveals itself with four limbs to walk as its other four limbs are latched behind its back. Its face resembles the face of an ugly demon with fangs.
"I, Metarrior, will swoop in for the great ambush. It's all part of Kafkinator plan."
“Duh? Wouldn’t that upset da boss? ” Wondered the clunky one.
“You should reconsider this move. We could be punished.” Suggest the shady one. “I don’t trust Kafkinator one bit.”
Metarrior didn't care as it started to share its side of the story with its buddies.
"I was once part of a competing rivalry for the knight title for Baronia, you see. The King tested our skills at one point, and I fought admirably to gain his attention. The Kafkinator was an unbeatable contender then, but it never stopped me from giving up. Two slots opened for the Knight position, and I was determined to secure one of them."
The two continued to listen on.
"The choices were difficult since they had to test our power and skills in a tournament. It was during the semifinals. The Kafkinator easily won his match, securing a place. I fought against Sullivan, and our powers were evenly matched. I was favored by the doctor to win, but somehow we ended in a stalemate. From a unanimous decision, the King chose Sullivan over me. Dr. Page suggested that he reconsider but didn't want to bother since he was bored."
The Baronia King is seen tossing his glass of wine in a flashback.
"My purpose was gone…A dream was completely taken away. The doctor knew my stats were superior to his then, not by a mile. The King had a little too much to drink at the time."
Metarrior ended its story.
"The Kafkinator even promised an open slot for me. And when the time is right, I'll strike him down when he least expects. It's like killing two birds with one stone."
“Well…good luck.”
"Duh...ya!"
The metal spider leaves the fortress as the shady and clunked monster remains behind. Metarrior walks gracefully through the hanger.
"The time has come to show what I can do. You may have killed Gunner, but I'm not to be underestimated." Metarrior takes one last look behind the halls as he teleports away.
Meanwhile, the King and his subjects continue having tea in the throne room. The King receives an incoming call from Sullivan begging for some help.
"I already said no. Now suck it up and handle things yourself for once. You have already lost much of our arsenal; no thanks to you."
The doctor whispered something into the King's ears as he contemplated hanging up. The Baronia King suddenly became interested in the doctor's words. He suddenly grinned as he looked back at Sullivan's face on the screen.
"Tell you what? We'll help aid you, but this is your last chance."
He was pleased to hear him reconsidering. The doctor then explains the details.
"I'll send back up, but you must get to it. I've marked a point on the locator, so you better get there."
He was joyfully relieved, promising to not fail as the doctor hung up.
Back with Alistor and the party, they continue their pursuit after the commander
"Before facing the commander, we should probably stock on supplies first while we have the chance," Tannen noted.
“Might as well be better prepared if we’re gonna storm an enemy base.” Maigashi shrugged.
Meanwhile, in a hideout where the enemy retreated off to...
“Time to open this artifact.”
A few pawns watch him from the background. The Wooden man removed the seal from the object, unlocking it as the ground shook. Bursts of red lighting burst out as everyone in the room takes cover as he falls from his back. A warrior rose from the broken seal's enchantment as he stretched his arms out. The warrior suddenly pulled up his sword in the air.
“I am Zolhalla! Defender of all that fights for good. How may I be of assistance?”
The Wooded man felt speechless for a moment before continuing on.
"I am Woodrow, the little one, and we need your help."
"What is the trouble, little man? Speak up!"
"Well, you see…. This Alistor and party have been causing a lot of trouble for us. They are evil, and we of the Baronia are what stands in their way."
The Wooden man hands out a computer-printed image of Alistor to him. He looks at it as more is being shown through the computer monitor.
“Take a look at the destruction they caused throughout this region.”
Movie-edited clips are seen on screen as Zolhalla crumples the picture. He plunged his sword through the monitor as red lightning burst, causing everyone to jump back. Everyone in the room starts pretending to be emotional and sad as the warrior takes pity on them.
"I can't bear to watch this monstrosity any further. Shed your tears; Zolhalla is here, so there's nothing to fear. I shall go forth and smite this evil you speak of."
He raised his sword in the air as he rushed out. Breaking through the wall instead of using a door. Sullivan started to feel successful as things worked out in his favor.
Back in town, Alistor and the party finished shopping as they planned to head home to put away part of their goods. Town people are screaming as Alistor and the others decide to take cover.
“Do you think Baronia sent down another monster?” Asked Maigashi.
“It’s too soon.” Tannen nodded.
Each member of Alistor's team had bags of groceries in their hands as they waited. Zolhalla walks casually into town, yelling Alistor's name while firing bolts of red lightning at the ground to get their attention.
"Come out wherever you are. You can't hide forever."
Alistor and the party decided to stop hiding as the four confronted the man with grocery bags in their hands.
“Who may you be?” Asked Alistor.
He raised his sword out.
"Who am I, you ask? I am Zolhalla! The Red Lightning and defender that fight for all that's good."
They were left speechless momentarily as Alistor wondered if he was a nutcase. He quickly pointed his sword at Alistor for a battle.
"I will smite you for all the evil you caused."
The party didn't hesitate to accept his challenge as Alistor threw his bags onto Auroa. Tannen and Maigashi did the same thing as the bags piled onto him.
“Bring it!”
