On the next day Anakin was surprised with the doorbell ringing in the morning. He was in the moddle of waking Luke up, when he heard it. He told his son to get dressed, while he checked who was bothering the in the morning. Anakin walked up to the door and opened it. He was immediately greeted with a kiss. He would recognize those lips everywhere.

-What are you doing here? - asked Anakin, when Y/n pulled away from him.

-Good morning to you too love. - smirked Y/n. - I wanted to surprise you and give the kids and you the lift.

Anakin smiled at his boyfriend and let him in the house. Then he excused himslef to see if Luke got out of the bed. Of course he didn't. Anakin was gettng annoyed, when Y/n decided to step in and help out. Just in that moment Leia walked out of her room. Her eyes brightened up when she saw Y/n.

-Hey kids. - he said smiling. Luke woke up immediately hearing his voice.

-Uncle Y/n! - he exclaimed excited. Y/n chuckled hearing that, he knew that he will have to talk to Luke and Leia about calling him uncle.

-Get up, Aston is waiting for a run. - he said.

It worked like a magic spell. Luke got dressed in the matter of seconds and was ready to go. He finished his breakfast quickly. Leia did the same. Anakin was amazed about the influence he had on his kids. And on him.

-I see you're done with the breakfast, now on your way to the car. - commanded jokingly Y/n.

Luke and Leia nodded and grabbed their backpacks. Anakin and Y/n went up to the vehicle as well and got in. Y/n waited for everyone to buckle up in their seats, before he started the engine and drove off. Once they got to the school Anakin gave his kids a hug. He watched as Luke and Leia walked in teh building, before he gave Y/n a sign to drive.

-Thank you for help in the morning. - said Anakin. - Luke is hard to wake up.

-It's nothing, it seems we have a remedy for that. - chuckled Y/n.

Anakin smiled lightly. The little things that Y/n did were making him incedible happy.He started to believe that there was something good waiting for him in his life, not only misery.

Soon they were on the spot. Anakin sighed, the road to their workplace passed way to fast for his likeing. They got out of the car and went straight to their office. They started their computers and Y/n made his way to the kitchen to grab a coffee. Once he came back, he put Anakin's mug on his desk. He wanted to sit down at his desk, but Anakin stopped him and kissed him.

-Reward for the coffe and this morning. - said Anakin.

-Reward fully accepted. - smirked Y/n and pecked Anakin's lips once more before he took his place in front of his computer.

At this point none of them cared that they may get fired for having a relationship. Anakin didn't have any problem with trusting Y/n in his good intentions. He knew that he and his kids were safe with him. Luke and Leia loved Y/n and Anakin was ready to admit and say out loud that he did too. 

-So about our date. - said Anakin. - What plans do you have for Friday evening?

-I think that I have a date with you. - answered Y/n, glancing at Anakin.

-What a fortunate coincidence. - smiled Anakin. - Then I will pick you up at seven.

-Alright, though most of the time it was me who was picking my date up. - chuckled Y/n.

-You'll pick me up another time. - answered Anakin.

-I will. - smirked Y/n. - I will pick you up and throw you on the bed. - he added, making Anakin lose his composure.

-I would actually let you. - answered Anakin, looking in Y/n's eyes.
