She attends Anna’s birthday party with her family. Anna is a beautiful girl. She is tall and slim, and everybody liked her. She  has a bubbly personality so everyone around her felt comfortable. After a while Anna cuts her cake and everybody gave her gifts and wished her birthday. And the relatives started commenting on Chaeyoen. “You really need to lose weight.”, says on of her relatives. Chaeyeon just fakes a smile and says, “I am trying to.”. Another one says, “But it does not look like you are trying.”. This makes Chaeyoen very uncomfortable, so she just smiles. Another one comes and says, “If you don’t lose weight you will look ugly and no one will want to marry you. You should start doing diet.”. And Chaeyoen is hurt. They are saying as if it was nothing, but it was hurting Chaeyeong badly. Her mother meets a friend of her, after 12 years. “Lina!”, her mother calls. The friend turns back and sees her mother. Both of them walked and holds hand together. “It’s been so many years. How are you doing, Lina?”, her mother asks getting all happy and excited.  “I am doing fine. Really, it’s been such a long time. I can’t believe we could meet again.”, Lina says smiling and holding hands with her mother. “Where’s Chaeyeong?”, Lina asks. Suddenly, the excitement and happiness that Chaeyeong’s mom had disappeared. Chaeyong notices it. “She was so little when I left. I wonder how much she has grown up.”, she says while smiling. Her mother calls her. “Chaeyoeng come her.”. Chaeyoeng comes. “Do you remember aunty Lina?  who used to live near us?”, she asks her. Chaeyoeng replies awkwardly,” I don’t remember.” And laughs awkwardly. She could see Lina looking surprised and could she that Lina was looking at her as if being fat is a crime. “Ah… you changed so much. I couldn’t recognize you.”, she says awkwardly. Chaeyoeng could see her mom looking disappointed and had the expression as she is ashamed of her. ‘At least could you not make that face infront of me. Ahhh. What am I even wishing for.’, she thought to herself.

“Please talk with each other. I will go and wish Anna a happy birthday.”, she says while forcing a smile on her face. She hurries and go to washroom as she wanted to be alone for a while. She looks at the mirror and says, “It’s okay this is nothing. Something like this won’t hurt me. I am strong.”. And puts a smile on her face. She goes to hall and she could hear, Lina comparing her with Anna. “I am so shocked to see Chaeyoen. I didn’t think she would look like this. I mean she used to be so pretty and cute when she was small but now… (she sighs). I thought she would me more beautiful than Anna.”, she says while shaking her head. Chaeyeong couldn’t listen anymore so she walks off to balcony. She just stands there feeling the breeze.
